meet my favorite person on the planet, my dad. he's taught me so much, and does this thing called life better than anyone else I know. from growing up in Mexico & playing college basketball, to being the full time CEO of multiple companies + church planter and pastor, he speaks so much wisdom on what it looks like to walk in purpose and confidence, without limits.

throughout my life, i’ve been blessed with some solid, life long friends, but I have also had some not so great experiences. i’m sure you can relate. in this episode, I share a little bit of my experience navigating friendships with girls throughout middle & high school, & how I learned to not label the future based off past experiences. friendships come with both the good & bad, but are by far one of the greatest experiences this life has to offer. let’s have a convo about it. see you in the next episode.

it's easy to let go of the big dreams + goals we've had forever in the world we live in. what would it look like if we fought normal, thought outside the box, and gave ourselves the space to simply dream?

enjoy this episode with one of the sweetest people on the planet. we talk about what it's like being hard on yourself, and combating the feeling of needing to live up to perfection. thanks for listening.
one of my favorite people joined me in a conversation about what it was like being a missionary kid, & what it looks like to live beyond our limits and borders. she hit ya'll with a lot of truth, so buckle up.
there are a lot of things one could talk about when it comes to the transition from being a high school student to a college student. starting off with a clean slate, fr struggling to eat anything else besides the cheapest fast food you can find, and the stress that comes with trying to figure out who you are apart from the childhood you knew for so long. no matter who you are or where you come from, it's tough when your life changes so drastically overnight. you are tossed into a whole new world pretty much. it's a process that brings forth a lot of growth, & that process is not always easy. today, I wanted to talk to ya'll a little bit about what my own transition looked like and just a few of the many things I learned during my first few months of college. everyone's way of processing is different, and everyone's high school to college transitioning experience has & will look different, I just decided to hit ya'll with some things I think will get everyone thinking. catch you in the next pod, byyye.
what would it look like if I truly allowed myself to be fully loved even when I don't have it all together. personally, I know my life would look a lot different. I recently had an incident that gave me the opporotunity to answer this question for myself, and made me realize i have been living most of my life believing that in order to be fully accepted and loved i have to always have it all together and never fully receive help. here's a short and sweet rant about it. lmk what you think.
conflict is a part of life and sometimes it's inevitable. i'm no expert, and i certainly have not always gone about it perfectly, but here are just a few things i've learned along the way about what it looks like to deal with conflict with whoever it might be. it's not easy, but learning how to manage conflict in the healthiest way is one of the most beneficial things we can do for not only ourselves, but the ones we love. if you want, dm me and lmk what you think. @mich.esco
after several conversations about this topic with one of my closest friends, Laney, we decided it was about time to hop on the mic and talk about it. we could seriously talk about this for hours, so there may or may not be a part 2 at some point. hope it was relatable & helpful in any way. thanks for listening.
far from perfect, but certain of the Jesus i know. in the episode i share a tiny bit of what faith has looked like in my life since i was little, and how Jesus has changed my life for the better. no matter what your religious backround is or no matter how skeptical you are about Him, i can guarantee that He wants to show up for you too. feel free to dm me with questions at @mich.esco. catch y'all in the next episode. oh wait.. here's a verse for you. Jeremiah 29:13 says - "You will seek me & find me when you seek me with all your heart."
