As we finish the last half of 2 Timothy 2, we are instructed to correctly handle the Word of Truth that we will be useful servants in the master’s hands. That we will be able to identify false teaching or error and to correct and encourage the wayward.
This weekend the Apostle Paul calls us to remember Jesus Christ , to remember what He has accomplished for us, and how to walk faithfully with Him in light of that truth.
As we start 2 Timothy, we will learn from Paul’s challenge to young Timothy to embrace the truth of God and depend on the grace of God. God has not given us a spirit of fear, so in order to guard what has been entrusted to us, we must embrace the truth and renounce the fear.
As we finish the book of 1 Timothy, we learn that there is both a time to flee and a time to fight. After addressing Timothy in ministry, he addresses those in the church with wealth on how to think and live.
There is a natural pursuit for contentment in the heart of every human. This search can be a blessing or a curse, but if it leads to Christ, then we discover both contentment and riches.
Everything rises and falls on leadership. That is especially true for the church. This weekend we will study why godly leadership is so valuable and important in the times that we live in.
As we study 1 Timothy 5, we will discuss two pursuits of pleasure. One leads to life and is a blessing, and the other leads to death and is a curse.
Insecurities do not have the power to stop us from obedience to God. This weekend we learn how to set an example by focusing on the Lord and His calling for our lives.

Paul addresses the qualification for leaders within the church. Gifting is important, but it’s not what is matters most. God uses men and women who reflect Him, and since this is true, character matters.

This weekend we will emphasize the clear truth that God saves us because of His Grace. If we think God’s love and acceptance of us has something to do with our performance, we have a counterfeit faith.
This weekend we will learn that there is power in the truth, but there is also power in a lie if it is believed. God is our source of truth! He is not the author of confusion. Staying close to Him, trusting His word and staying on mission keeps us on target.

In 2 Thessalonians, Paul continues to encourage a young church going through persecution. Paul delights in their increasing faith, demonstrated by their love for one another and perseverance under trials. From these scriptures we learn that Saving FAITH, rooted in the gospel; matures, perseveres under trial, serves others and glorifies God.

If God has all the details of world history worked out in advance, we can trust the details of our lives to Him.
John tells us that Jesus did so many great things that are not recorded in this Book. So why did He end with this last chapter? Why does Jesus meet His disciples on the beach and cook them breakfast? And what Jesus says to Peter say to us Today?
Kingdom upon kingdom may arise, only Jesus can save us. The best place for us to be is around the throne of God, that is where we find those who love God.
In John 20 we see that the Tomb is empty, and That Jesus is Alive. Believing in a Risen Lord changes everything. Because He Lives we Also Live!!!
What Jesus has done for us is Forever Finished!!! As we learn from John 19, we will see that our job is to keep Him at the center and stay focused on the Finished work.

Great Potential is sacrificed on the altar of sin! Integrity and Character become lost in fear and pride, all while Grace was available to sink sin in the ocean of forgiveness.
In the second half of John 18 we will learn from the fear of Peter and the faith of Jesus. God’s great love for us is demonstrated in Jesus’ innocence releasing our guilt.

Joy is not found in unbelief, pleasure, money, nor popularity. Joy is found where peace is found…in Jesus
God will accomplish His purposes no matter the circumstances we find ourselves in. Our part is simply to trust God and stay faithful to Him.
Being filled with the Holy Spirit always bears evidence, it bears fruit. And that's what we want people to see.

This weekend Jesus covers both love and hate. As believers, we are encouraged to love others while at the same time remaining aware that the world will hate us while we love them. We can stay encouraged as we remember that Jesus set the example and calls us to follow Him.
God's calling is inherently missional as He is missional, unless we are missional in all we do, it is window dressing.
Just as Jesus is the truth, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. Jesus and the Spirit are one! Therefore, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, brings light and salvation to all those who love Jesus and obey his word.
We will be encouraged this weekend as we see Jesus compassionately ease the disciple’s troubled hearts. Jesus reminds us that ONLY through Him we have the incredible promise of an eternity in Heaven.
If God’s word can bring spiritual life to those who are dead in sin, how much more can it bring revival to the soul of believers who need spiritual refreshing.
