1 Peter 3:8-10
:8. Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
:9. Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
:10. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
We should be careful of whatever we say or do. We should even be careful of what we share on social media.
We must guide our lips.
Proverbs 15:1
A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
As a child of God, who shares the the word of God, we should not let evil dwell in our heart.
Philippians 1:15
Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
The bible encourage us to follow peace with all men.
Hebrews 12:14
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
We should not not render evil for evil
1 Thessalonians 5:15
See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
James 3:13
Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
We should show people through our character that we belong to God.

Fasting is good for the body. According to Scientists at the California University, fasting boost the immune system.
When fasting, we need to pray to God. At the time of fasting we must be kind to fellow men.
At the time of fasting, no showing off in order to get people's sympathy.
Fasting period is not a time of punishment for spouses. If abstinence must happen, it must be an agreement between them. Each of the spouses must not use fasting as an instrument of revenge.
I also learnt that, marriage is honourable.
Hebrews 13:4
Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
Matthew 5:28
But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
Husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church.
Ephesians 5:23-24
:23. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
:24. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
A man must provide for his home. It a must obligation for a man to provide for his family.
1 Timothy 5:8
But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
A man must not cover his head neither a woman open her head during prayer.
Covering of head of a woman is a sign respect of authority of her husband.
1 Corinthians 11:11-14
:11. Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.
:12. For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.
:13. Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
:14. Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
Husbands should love their wifes and not bitter againt them.
Colossians 3:19
Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
Wife also should appear neat and clean with sweet fragrance to the husband. Wife should ensure she look appealing to the husband always.

Prayer mean request.
When making request, it will be answered as long as it is ask aright.
Philippians 4:6
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Mark 11:24
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Even Jesus prayed before he do things
In all our request, we should give thanks because they would surely be answered when they are right request.
Matthew 15:36
And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
1 Timothy 4:4
For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
When should we Pray
We are supposed to pray without ceasing. Our prayers should be always.
1 Thessalonians 5:17
Pray without ceasing.
Luke 18:1
And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Prayers should be few not in repetition. God is not slow to listen or hear us.
Ecclesiastes 5:2
Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.
How to be sure our prayer would be answered
a. Flee youthful lust.
2 Timothy 2:22
Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
b. Don't be wicked/ evil
1 Peter 3:10
For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
Proverbs 15:8
The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
c. Be voice of offence towards God or man.
Acts 24:16
And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.
Matthew 15:19-20
:19. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
:20. These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.
d. Let your heart be pure
Jeremiah 17:9
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
e. Spouse should ensure their hearts are clean towards each other
1 Peter 3:7
Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
God listened to man who has no evil mind.
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
When we purify our heart, God will forgive and hear our prayers.
For God to hear us, we need to obey him first.
We should put away every work of the flesh.
Galatians 5:19-21
:19. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
:20. Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
:21. Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

We are not to believe every spirit but try them because many false prophets are out in the world.
1 John 4:1
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 Peter 2:1
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
The false teachers and prophets turn the bible to suit themselves but the world of God is standard.
1 Thessalonians 5:21
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
Romans 12:9
Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
Bro Eli also teach us How to call on God
When we feel like we are alone and don't know what to do, we have God to call unto. Praying is also a commandment from God.
God does not hear prayers of sinners
John 9:31
Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
Proverbs 15:8

The right manner of praying in
accordance with the word of God
- Do not use vain repetition.
Matthew 6:7

- Prayers should be few and specific
Ecclesiastes 5:1-2
:1. Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.
:2. Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.
- Do not pray in hypocritical way
Matthew 6:5
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
- Kneel/bow down to pray to God.
Matthew 26:39
And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
Psalms 95:6
O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.
- A woman should have covering on her head as her husband is her head as Christ is the head of the man. God, the head of Christ. A man should not cover his head while praying.
1 Corinthians 11:3
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

We need to have holiness and follow peace with all men because without it, no one can see God.
James 3:17
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
1 Peter 3:11
Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
As much as possible, we should seek peace with all men.
James 3:16
For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
Colossians 3:15
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
1 Peter 2:15
For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
When we do good always and let the peace of God rule in our heart, evil desires of the wicked will be put to silence.
We are supposed to love indeed and not in word or tongue alone.
1 John 3:18
My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
We must not allow Satan to take advantage of us.
Colossians 4:6
Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
Without peace and holiness, no one can see the Lord.
Our peace is Jesus Christ.

Paul was called from Judaism to the church of God.
Galatians 1:14-15
:14. And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
:15. But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,
2 Corinthians 1:1 also confirm the call of Paul to the church of God.
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:
Calling out to the church of God where people are from other religion to become one.
John 11:52
And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.
A call from people who are scattered to become one body.
Ephesians 4:4
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
People that are called to become one and have hope in Christ.
Worshipping creature of God than worshipping the creator is saddening because it is wrong. Worshipping animal is totally wrong because we have dominion over them.
Romans 1:25
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
There is no any fierce animal that cannot be tamed by man. So, what is there reason to serve why man have power upon.
Proverbs 22:1
A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.
It is better to choose good name better than riches. God is the only good name.
Luke 18:19
And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.
Confirm that God is the only good name.
Romans 12:9
Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
Encourage us to cleave to that which is good.
Joining church of God is a commandment from God.
John 12:48
He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
Gentiles (irrespective of where we come from, as long as we believe Jesus) are fellow heirs and heirs must be members of the same body. The body is the church.
There is no need to build/create a church because church is already in existence since days of Jesus Christ. It is just for us to join to become a member.
Members of the church of God are partakers of the promise of God.

Christ is the true son of God. Matthew 17:5 confirm the reason we need to follow the doctrine of Christ.
Matthew 17:5
While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
He is our master and Lord.
Jesus commanded the disciples to go and make disciples, teach and baptized with a promise that he is with them always.
Matthew 28:19-20
:19. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
:20. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
The first doctrine that should be done is to make disciples and baptized. It is after baptism that other teaching come.
Whatever that is not written in the bible should not be accepted because all the doctrine and commandments are written in the bible by the apostles.
1 Corinthians 14:37
If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
The first commandment Jesus gave Paul after his encounter with him was in the book of Acts 22:16. He told him to arise and be baptized.
Acts 22:16
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
It is necessary to join the church of God because in the book of Acts 2:41, 46 that was what was done.
Acts 2:41, 46
:41. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
- And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
Those who received the word were added to the church of God.
Colossians 1:18
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
Christ is the head of the body. The body is the church.
Ephesians 3:6
That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
The Lord Jesus said he who accepts him but reject his word is not right because the word would stand against the person. He who receive Jesus must receive his teaching.

Lesson learnt and short video from Thanksgiving Service. 9th October, 2021.
Dieing spiritually is only possible if we choose it. Satan can only kill physically not spiritually if we don't give him chance. He can only suggest and deceive but we have the power to choose not to be at his side.
When we sin against God, we can come back to Him for forgiveness, He will forgive us and accept us as long as our sins are not deliberate.
When Satan kill because we refuse to follow him, it is a gain because it save us the stress of struggling with the beast for the mark after the trumpet.
It is better to choose to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the pleasure of sin for a season.
Hebrews 11:25
Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
Proverbs 18:10
The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
To be at the side of God mean we are winner because we are at the side of winner not loser.
Romans 14:8
For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
We need to watch out for one another so that the weak can be encouraged.
Matthew 12:43-45
:43. When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
:44. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
:45. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
If we don't take care of each other, the fallen may not be able to rise again because when the fallen are not taken care of the evil spirit that was sent out will recheck and if found the place empty, he call other evil spirits that are more wicked to occupy the space.

Satan is a deceiver and he moves around always to deceive people.
We are encouraged to be watchful always because Satan is not at rest.
1 Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Just like there is an appointment day for man to die, so also there is an appointment day for God to judge the world.
Hebrews 9:27
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Acts 17:31
Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
For everyone who is not in Christ, there's a second death.
Revelation 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Satan can kill also but he who will be able to resist his temptation will die once but live with Christ in eternity.
Revelation 20:4
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
When we are with Christ, nothing can separate us from Him, even death.
Romans 8:38
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Anyone who do good will resurrect to eternal life and those who do evil will raise to condemnation.
Daniel 12:2
And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
John 5:29
And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
When God gives eternal life, no one can kill such again and who are raise up to condemnation can never be save.
Until the end of our life, we should fear God because there is judgement at the end of the day.
Deuteronomy 32:39
See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
When we cast our burden upon Him, He saves us but when we panic at our problems, we are already vulnerable unto the attack of the devil.
1 Peter 5:7
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Worshipping other god is an abomination. Like others do, some worship cow, elephant, calendar e. t. c. God is displeased with such attitude and it is a big sin before the Lord.

How does reproduction possible when it was only Cain and Abel that Adam and Eve gave birth to?
Answer
Genesis 5:4
And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
Adam have other children apart from Cain and Abel. He gave birth to female children too. So, Cain married his sister.

Where was it recorded in the Bible that Jesus was in existence before the world began
Answer
John 17:5
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
Jesus has been in existence before the world began. Christ received glory from God even before the world began.
Philippians 2:5-8

John 1:18
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
The son came from the bossom of the father. He was with God from the beginning. He was existing with the father in eternity. He was brought out of God, just like Eve was brought out from Adam.
John 13:3
Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;
Jesus came from father and go back to the father just like man came from dust and return to dust.

The title "Pastor" belong to Jesus. He is the good Shepherd.

Pastor, Shepherd, Apostle e. t. c belongs to Jesus Christ.

:9. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
:10. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
:11. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
:12. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
Question
If man sin against each other, even to the extent of hatred how can one forgive.
Answer
God also forgives our sins.
Jesus Christ also forgives people that sin against him and crucified him. Sins have to be forgiven and forget.
If God will not forget our iniquities, no man will remain.
Psalms 130:3
If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
