We sent eight of our students to participate in their workshop and our junior cycle team, Hollie Homan, Emily-Rose Murphy, Grace Harrington and Alyx Griffin won the competition. Their prize was to spend some time in RedFM and record a segment. We're delighted to present what they recorded!

The TY Student Council did an interview with Mairéad Twohig from Cork's 96FM regarding their recently launched initiative on the provision of Sanitary Products for all students and staff in the school. Having successfully managed their project - 'Know Your Flow - Here to Ensure You're Secure' - as far as seeing the dispensers installed and stocked, the purpose of their interview was to inspire other schools and organisations to do the same, and to encourage the Government to provide funding and grants to support them in doing so. The girls spoke with such knowledge, conviction and enthusiasm, we couldn't but be proud of them!
Episode 1 sees the introduction of the St. Angela's Podcast, SACSpeaks. In this episode, we'll be chatting to Hollie Homan and her training with the Munster Schools Soccer team.
