In todays video, we try to make the cheapest one turn kill magic deck using the schoolteacher combo. I had previously made a working deck that used the Surpasing Blast (1 cost 2 damage to god card) which was a good replacement for the Form of Power that we don't currently own. After the balance update they made the surpasing blast only target creatures so I went back to the drawing board to make a deck that was much cheaper and still works for a OTK on turn 6 to 7 if you get all the pieces together.
I won about 7 games in a row on the direct challenge using challenge code 'practice', where my opponents were mostly Magic decks with a Decep and Death in the mix. I don't recommend this deck for Ranked battles because Nature can be too fast for it, but with that being said in my final match I take the deck into a Ranked match against Nature.

In this video , I ask the question: Is War still a viable deck in the current meta and how will it compete against the field during the Weekend Ranked? I take a look at the last few days of Meta data on GUdecks.com and similar to last week there are very few War decks being played successfully.
My first Match is against a Death deck with a lot of life gain. We stick to our plan of getting in damage where we can and finish up with our relics. My second Match is against a Deception deck using many of the great new cards from Mortal Judgement that make it a very popular deck type this past Weekend Ranked and I would guess for the coming WR starting April 29th, 2022.
I'm sure I made a lot of mistakes in these games as I am still learning the deck but I still somehow pulled out some nice wins. I don't recommend this for Ranked ladder without further refinement but I am excited to do some more testing and to see some other great War decks on the horizon.

Thanks for tuning in again. It was a crazy weekend ranked with lots of Anubian decks and nasty Deception decks with a mix of Light and Nature. Truth be told I am mostly a 'free to play' Gods Unchained player but I have invested a little less than $100 into the game at this point with a total collection value around $220. Which included a bad purchase of Grand Hall the week before its nerfed for 20 Gods and then recently I bought 20 packs of Mortal Judgement. That being said, I don't have any great cards from Genesis and Trial that it requires to be proficient at Mythic rank. Despite that, I am in Mythic and you too can get wins with cheap free to play decks you just have to get used to lower winning percentages but the rewards are so much better at rank 12.
Today we play a Nature deck est. value 0.006 ETH vs a Anubian deck est. value 0.669 ETH.

I welcome special guest JayHustle of Gods Unchained newest whale fame and longtime Conqueror's Blade brother in Arms from our Ceit Dynasty family. I play a Nature deck against a strong War deck that nearly defeated me. Then I open some new Mortal Judgement packs and pray to the Gods Unchained that I get my Epic pack back from the ether.

This is the last Weekend Ranked for the Divine Order Rewards. I started in Solar Gold this week up from Auric Gold last week and I am steadily marching back up to Mythic. Got 18 of 25 wins with an aggro-Light deck that did pretty well against the field. My first match is against a War deck and the next is against mirror match Light decks that were pretty fun.

I am using an Aggro Light deck vs a War and Nature deck which was the other two most popular decks this weekend. I am starting in Auric Gold because I dropped from Mythic when I was farming XP to open Core packs when I was going for the new Core Set Refresh cards that just came out this month. Hopefully we can work our way back up to Mythic and get some of the better rewards.
