Awake Awake is what happens when you discover that what you've believed about the world isn't true! Once you spot the first lie, then you begin to see even more things that you once trusted in may not be what you thought they were.
The ultimate source of all lies is one called "the father of lies," and he has a plan to keep you asleep. His human agents are at work on the earth to establish his agenda. The light of truth crushes their power.
There are also many ideas and "truths" we believe in error. When God begins showing you truth from his Word, you discover that some of what you believed may not be so. Look what Jesus said to the Phraisees.
This podcast will challenge you to wake up and to listen to the Holy Spirit, the one who promises to lead us into all truth.
Freedom is a word we use a lot. In the United States we were raised to believe that our freedom was a birthright passed to us through blood sweat and tears by our forefathers. It is true that the US has been and is more free than most other nations.
But what does freedom mean? I believe we are created to be free. It is a gift to us from God. But the true condition that lets us be free may surprise you.
We came into a world at war. This war has been going on for thousands of years. We know it by the name "The Seed War."
When God cursed the serpent in the Garden of Eden he said, "I will cause war to be between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed."
My guest today is Dr. Laura Sanger. She is a Clinical Psychologist and author of The Roots of the Federal Reserve: Tracing the Nephilim from Noah to the U.S. Dollar.
We talk about the strategies the enemy has used through history and what we as believers in Jesus are called to do in response.
The news media and members of congress shaped the story of what happened on January 6th into a pack of lies and hyperbole that defied logic. But, as we have seen, if you repeat lies often and with conviction, you can convince a majority of people to believe you.
Casey Cusick was in Washington DC on January 6 and saw what happened. And his story of what happened to his family afterward is one more people need to hear.
Casey also has a podcast called The Watchmen Podcast where he brings information you can't find on mainstream media.

The wolf doesn't fair too well in this story either.
Most Christians are willing to take Jesus' offer of forgiveness as a free gift from God the Father. But once they get into a church the message tends to be that you have to work hard to live up to God's standards of being a "good Christian."
And you've got to check all the "good Christian" boxes if you want God to bless you in this life.
My conversation with my friend Robert P. is his story of how God the Father rescued him from this typical Christian mindset and led him into both the freedom of living in God's grace, but also of walking in the power of Holy Spirit for his ministry.
Cowboys, Hippies, Pierced, & TattooedWe've been looking for the revival that Holy Spirit says is coming! Prophets have been talking about the coming great revival for over 30 years.
The difference today is that God has raised up a whole new group of prophets to give his people hope and encouragement. And they are talking with a greater sense of urgency about what is coming for God's children.
This new group of prophets make religious Christians uncomfortable. Some prominent church leaders have told them to be quiet. The intimidation worked on some of the prophets. But prophets are raised up by God to make waves and confront religious strongholds.
Kim Sligh was a nurse working in surgical oncology.
When she started seeing things about the Covid narrative not quite feeling right she began asking questions.
When the vaccine mandates came out she was highly skeptical and started paying attention to what she was being told versus what she observed in her patients. It seemed to her that the patients who were vaccinated experienced faster than normal growth rates of their cancer between the time when they were scanned and tested and the date of their surgery.
She continued to refuse the vaccine until the hospital fired her.
Now she works as a personal health coach offering ways to boost her clients immune systems. She says that she went from “sick-care” to “health-care.”
It's a sad thing when adult Christian leaders act like 12-year-old children.
"I won't talk to you because you're friends with her!"
A prominent Chrstian evangelist is saying the same to any media outlet that hosts people he doesn't agree with. He claims it is "protecting correct doctrine."
I'm all for good doctrine. But Christians have divided over doctrine for almost two thousand years. If we are going to be effective in the move of God that is coming, we need to look at what we have in common and unite to advance the kingdom of God.
The move of God that is coming is going to bring a flood of people into the kingdom who don't look, act, nor talk like "church people." I pray and am working to see that they never do. Church people need to be set free from their religious spirit and find the freedom Holy Spirit offers them.
You know the story. But have you ever asked what is really going on here?
Stories make us suspend our belief. This is especially true of Fairy Tales.
The story of the three little pigs is supposed to teach us, as children, the importance of making wise choices. But if you look closer, there is more to learn from this story than you thought.
The key thing we as followers of Jesus must learn today is how to listen to Holy Spirit. One thing you should know about Holy Spirit, the messages come in many ways. And Holy Spirit does this in order to keep us from getting in a rut.
The deadliest threat to our faith is familiarity. Holy Spirit always adds some mix of mystery, riddle, or obscurity to messages so we must draw closer and seek deeper understanding in the context of relationship with Holy Spirit.

The psychological term is Cognitive Dissonance. And we are about to get a huge dose of it when people begin to see the truth of the matrix we have been living in.

When you hear stories of new innovations in technology that get shut down by powerful forces in government or industry it's usually a rumor with six degrees of separation.
I spoke with my friend, Brian Harrison, about his experience trying to help an inventor bring cutting-edge battery technology to market. Was it a conspiracy and a suspicious death? Or was it a powerful bureaucrat acting out of greed and his powerful position and a strange coincidence?

Application: Believe what God says.

Jesus was answering a question about the Law.
Law was First Covenant - w/ people of Israel.
Jesus - New Covenant in my blood - Eucharist - Communion
Jesus never commanded that his followers love God . . . neighbor
That was the Law of Moses
Rom 3:30 - No one will be made right w/ God by keeping the law
Xans trying to do this – you are trying to live by Law
Jesus ~ Jn 13:34 - New commandment: Love each other as I have loved you.
Truth: First have to accept Jesus’ love for you. Then Love others.
Application: Our primary job as followers of Jesus is to let him love us.
Then we love each other like that.

I keep thinking of things want to say about what I'm doing on this podcast.
Since I'm going to be talking about the Bible a lot, I think I need to talk about my approach to the Bible. Better to let you know up front and be offended than making you listen to a number of episodes before you figure it out.
Short summary: It's not the Father, the Son, and the Holy Bible!
The Bible is designed to help us in an ongoing relationship with the Father and Son through the Holy Spirit!
I was going to church before I was born. I was in Sunday School at age 2. And I was four years old when I asked Jesus to come live in my heart. That was my four-year-old understaning of what I learned in Sunday School.
This episode tells my story of how God delivered me from religion and how that awakening helped me see through the smoke and mirrors that we've been seeing these last couple of years.
What is this podcast about? It's based on three references in the Bible (the book of Isaiah) that declare, Awake Awake.
The format will be weekdays: 5 min. commentary on selections from the Bible.
Regular (times to be determined) conversations with awake people.
