In the Old Testament we find a paradox: on the one hand, the people long to be in God’s presence and at the same time, God evoke awe and fear. And so, Psalm 15 begins with a very important question: “O LORD, who shall sojourn in your tent? Who shall dwell on your holy hill?” (Ps 15:1).

Albert Einstein once said “the more I study science, the more I believe in God”. There is no conflict between our faith and science. Seeing the complexity of the universe and interrelatedness of all forms of life, all wise people acknowledge that the creation of the universe could not happen by chance. There has to be an incredibly gifted designer behind all the awesome beauty of our world. That designer for the psalmist, for me, and many other people is the God of the Bible. But, the Lord has not only created the universe and all with it. He also sustains it in being and he cares for us.
