Legendary Chicago political reporter Bill Cameron is the producer and host of “Take 1 with Bill Cameron” a weekly interview program and podcast. Cameron retired from full-time reporting in August 2021 after more than a half century of covering Chicago politics.
“Take 1 with Bill Cameron” will present unedited interviews with Chicago newsmakers and discussions about breaking local news.
This week, Bill is joined by the outgoing Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx. She talks about her 8 years in office. Is the legal system fairer now than it was when she took over as Cook County State's Attorney? She also took aim at the new Trump Administration for his pick of Matt Gaetz as Attorney General.

This past Monday (11/28/22) was the deadline to file petition signatures for candidates running for mayor of Chicago, and December 5th is the deadline for those signatures to be challenged. The panel consider which candidates might face a legitimate challenge to their petitions and note the one missing veteran who did not file this time around.
