Adopt the engineering mindset. It helps to view a challenge from the big-picture perspective. You'll be able to see various options to decide which would be the best approach. ACTION: Step back and look at a current problem as a whole rather than focusing on the details.
Delegate efficiently. A great leader lets people do what they do best. You can't be everything to everyone. ACTION: Delegate a task to someone on your team who can do a better job than you.
Fill a need. If you want to start a business, make sure it's doing something that fills an existing need. ACTION: Ask yourself if there's a problem you see over and over again and how you can fill that need in a way that is profitable.
Know your worth. Don't be afraid to charge accordingly. You'll attract your ideal clients when you value your time. ACTION: Reassess your fees to determine if you're charging what you are worth. If not, consider making changes.

Thank you for supporting my show through this last season! This is a quick update to let you know I’m going into my July Oasis, where I take a one-month break. During July, there won't be any new episodes. We’ll kick things back into gear for season two in August.
In my book, The Power of Having Fun, I introduce the concept of an Oasis. In short, it’s critical to your productivity to have regular breaks from work.
Here’s how you can create a recurring Oasis pattern in your schedule.
Start small. Try creating a finish line in your day and commit to stop working after that time.
Extend the length of your break. Schedule just one day to do nothing but rest and relax.
Plan ahead of time. Schedule a longer vacation, perhaps a week, months in advance so you can prepare and be ready to enjoy it.
If you have comments about the show, or suggestions for an excellent future guest, please drop us an email at listen@successproject.show. I would love to hear from you!
I look forward to sharing more successful journeys and actionable tips with you next season.
