If we’re honest, I don’t think many of us thought the Riders would beat the Bombers in Winnipeg.

But I don’t think we saw a 51-6 beatdown coming either. On Episode 44 of the Rider Nation Podcast, you can’t have it both ways when it comes to the Pete Robertson situation and fielding a solid squad that can win a tough game.

Also, how the Bombers were out to prove a point and how we got lucky on Super Saturday twice.

It was an emotional roller coaster of a game, but in the end, the Riders finally beat the Bombers for the first time since 2019.  The final score was 32-30 in OT for the good guys.

On Episode 43 of the Rider Nation Podcast, Andrew Paterson from Winnipeg Sportstalk joins us to talk about the Labour Day Classic and what went right for the Riders and what went wrong for the Bombers.

He gives us his take on the now-infamous headbutt by Pete Roberston and how he thinks the Bombers will respond in the Banjo Bowl.

As the Riders get ready to take on the Bombers in the Labour Day Classic, we welcome back to the Rider Nation Podcast voice of the Riders, Michael Ball.

The Rider Nation bandwagon is full again after the Riders hung on to beat BC 34-29.  On episode 41 of the podcast Chevy & Nasty, jump on to talk about what a gutsy win the Riders pulled off.

And almost losing a teammate to a rock band on their bye week.

He’s back!  The former voice of the Riders, Rod Pedersen, joins us on episode 39 and tells us when he was officially out on this year’s team.

Rod says the Riders do have some talent, but the QB airlift of Antonio Pipkin isn’t the answer and has never worked.

We put him on the spot and asked him who the coach and gm of the Riders should be next year. The answer may surprise you.

From the opening kick-off, you could tell it wasn’t going to be the Riders’ night in Montreal.

The Alouettes laid a 41-12 beatdown on the Riders, who looked bad in all three phases of the game.

To make matters worse, Mason Fine gets hurt, and Jake Dolegala has to try to salvage what he can.

In episode 38 of the podcast, we talk about no saviour coming to Rider nation, the inept decisions of the Rider brass and how Kirch hates wrestling and the Moose Jaw air show.

In one of the crazier finishes we've seen in a long time, the Riders pulled out a 26 - 24 win over the Ottawa Redblacks.

A record of 4-4 seems much better than 3 and 5, and the possibility that coach Dickie could have been fired. In this episode, we'll break down how the Riders almost played a perfect game until they nearly choked it away.

Mason Fine played better, Brett Lauther redeemed himself, and Anthony Lanier balled out. We also talk about the Stamps game, other CFL changes and the new Johnny Football show on Netflix.

The Riders lose again! Argos communications manager and play-by-play voice Mike Hogan joins the podcast to talk about the Argo win over the Riders at Touchdown Atlantic.

We asked him about Chad Kelly, his thoughts about the Riders, the pipeline of Argos's young talent, and what coaches may be poachable in the off-season.

We also get into who should start next week against Ottawa and how Oppenheimer will sweep this year's Oscars.

The Rider defence played their best game of the year, but horrible coaching by Craig Dickenson and ultra-conservative QB play from Mason Fine cost the Riders as they lost 19-9 to the BC Lions.

Is Dickie on the hot seat as far as his job goes, and it won't get any easier when they head east to play Toronto.
