Hello! This is another one of my guitar customizations, this time it's my old 1989 Squier MIK. It used to be Torino Red, but I thought it was a bit boring and bland, so I decided to change that.
Hola! Esta es otra de mis customizaciones, esta vez se trata de mi vieja Squier MIK 1989. Solía ser Rojo Torino, pero a mi parecer era un poco aburrido e insípido, así que decidí cambiar eso.
It had already been modified with a set of Dimarzio Virtual Vintage pickups, CTS pots, Fender selector and Switchcraft jack... By the way, this neck is the best of all Fender I've had and I've had a few, well we continue... The first thing I did was sand the original finish until all the shine is removed and with wood putty I remove all the bumps and marks the body had in its 33 years of use and once the putty dried I sanded again so that everything would be uniform.
Ya ella había sido modificada con un set de pastillas Dimarzio Virtual Vintage, potenciómetros CTS, selector fender y jack Switchcraft... Por cierto, este mástil es el mejor de todas las Fender que he tenido y he tenido unas cuantas, bueno seguimos... Lo primero que hice entonces fue lijar el color original hasta quitar todo el brillo y con masilla para madera eliminar todos los golpes y marcas que tenía el cuerpo en sus 33 años de ruedo y una vez que se secó la masilla volví a lijar para q todo quedara uniforme.
Thinking about what color I was going to give it, it occurred to me to make a white over red, relic, so I painted in snow white and with a blade I scratched the area where I wanted to resemble natural wear and sanded it to give it more realism.
Pensando en que color iba a darle, se me ocurrió hacerle un relic blanco sobre rojo, así que pinté de blanco nieve y con una hojilla raspé las zonas donde quería semejar el desgaste natural por uso y lo lijé para darle más realismo.
After thoroughly cleaning the entire surface, I put on a glossy clear coat and sanded again (this is more sanding than anything else). Once it was dry (a couple of days) I polished it with car wax.
Después de limpiar bien toda la superficie, le puse transparente brillante y otra vez a lijar (esto es mas lijar que cualquier otra cosa). Ya una vez que secó (un par de días) la pulí con cera de carro.
The original pickguard was white 3-ply, it seemed boring to leave the original, so I bought a vintage tortoise one, I also changed Dimarzio set it had for a Fender Custom Shop 69 set handmade by Aby Ybarra and a Fender vintage tremolo, and this was the final result, a completely different guitar but with the same soul.
El pickguard original era blanco de 3 capas, me pareció aburrido dejar el original, así que compré uno vintage tortoise, también cambié los Dimarzio que tenia por un set Fender Custom Shop 69 hecho a mano por Aby Ybarra y un tremolo Fender vintage, y este fue el resultado final, una guitarra completamente diferente pero con la misma alma.

Hola de nuevo! voy a presentar el amplificador de guitarra que para mi es el mejor en su precio, tamaño y prestaciones. Este es un video "sin hablar" pero les dejare una pequeña descripción de lo que es el Blackstar HT5RH.
It is a 5w British tube amplifier push/pull configuration with 2 independent channels, digital reverb and ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) technology that consists to going from a British tone to an American one with just a potentiometer. It uses 2 valves in pre, 1 ECC83 and 1 12BH7. With the playthrough video you can get an idea of what its sound is like.
Es un amplificador de tubos británico de 5w configuración push/pull con 2 canales independientes, reverb digital y tecnología ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) que consiste en pasar de un tono británico a uno americano solo con un potenciómetro. Usa 2 tubos, ECC83 y un 12BH7 en el previo. Con el video del playthrough podrás tener una idea de cómo es su sonido.

The Wampler Triple Wreck is a distortion pedal that will make your guitar sound like Gods (or demons as well). This is normally a "no talking" post but I will make a little description of the pedal, so you understand better.
El Wampler Triple Wreck es un pedal de distorsión que hará q tu guitarra suene a Dioses (o demonios según sea el caso). Este es normalmente un post "Sin hablar" pero haré una pequeña descripción del pedal para que entiendan mejor.
It is based on the Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier, it has volume, gain, treble, mids and bass control, besides it has a Booster contour control that in my opinion makes the signal very dirty by adding a kind of fuzz that destroys the pedal, It also has a toggle switch that adds a little more aggressiveness to the tone. It has 2 buttons, 1 to activate and deactivate the distortion and the other for the booster so that it can be activated, the distortion must be on. The only thing left is to see and hear the playthrough.
Está basado en el Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier, tiene control de volumen, gain, agudos, medios y graves, aparte tiene un control de Booster que a mi parecer ensucia muchísimo la señal agregándole una especie de fuzz que destroza al pedal, también tiene un toggle switch que le agrega un poco más de agresividad al tono. Tiene 2 botones, 1 para activar y desactivar la distorsión y otro para el booster, para que se pueda activar, la distorsión debe estar encendida. Lo unico q queda es ver y escuchar el playthrough.
