Name: Marcel Hedman
Undergrad: University of Cambridge, Natural Sciences
Masters: Harvard University, Choate Memorial Fellow, Data Science
Get ready for the most valuable hour of your month.
Marcel is one of the most intelligent and humble individuals I’ve been lucky to speak with.
As a student he interned in Law, Management Consulting, and Investment Banking - meaning his insights about each can support you if you are thinking about any of these industries.
Deferring his offer from McKinsey & Company to study at Harvard University for a year, Marcel and I discuss his decision-making at each stage of his journey looking at areas as varied as AI, personal authenticity, startups, the poetry of Kendrick Lamar and risk-taking early in your career.
He recently left McKinsey to join the AI startup Axion Ray, and also runs Nural Research, a newsletter exploring AI use to tackle global grand challenges such as climate change and healthcare.
No matter your interest or stage of your journey, you will come away from this conversation with relevant, powerful insights.
