My goal for this podcast is to create a safe space for people to ask the WHY? We should all be free to question anything, to learn why things are the way they are, and to openly discuss how some things in this world may need to change. Lasting change at that.
Who knew Pastors could be such great dancers? Kris, is someone I could have never expected to meet in my weekly Dance Jam class at Lifetime but, when I first saw how full of joy and love he was, I witnessed it pour out of him and on to others. He is someone who makes people feel welcomed, cared for , and heard. I knew right away when we first spoke about the community, he and his wife have built, that I had to have him on the podcast. This message hit so right and relates to so much to things I'm currently learning in my own journey and I could not be more thrilled to share this with you all. If you have ever struggled with the idea or feeling of what Faith means to you, then this episode will be something you want to hear!

Joy and happiness have become a priority and no one else but myself is responsible for creating that in my life. Everyday is a new opportunity to find new joy but, first fear must be over-thrown. Limiting beliefs and fearful what ifs, keep us stagnant and if growth is what you are looking for running past the fear is a start. I recently noticed I was afraid of making connections because I don't plan on staying in Memphis for much longer. This to me was a big WTF moment I had, how can I, someone who thrives off of connection and wants to quite literally create a life making impactful change with people all over the world, not want to connect? Crazy, right ?
I love you all so much fellow humans and could not be more thankful that you are here joining me on this journey. I hope everyone is ready for what's to come because this is only the beginning.

You ever wonder who "they" are ? ... Just curious I've been told almost everyday of my life that "they" have some rather distinct opinions of how I should live my life. These people we give power to have no idea what is actually happening in our life, they don't know our perspective, our why so then why do we care so much about their opinion? I will always say choice is the most powerful tool. Owning up to the fact that someone can only offend us if we let them and if they do upset you, what was the limiting belief you are carrying around? Keep this in mind, if you know every day that you are doing the best you can ... and "they" are doing their best, then what do we have to stress over ? I love all of your sweet faces and hope this episode finds you well. Like I said I will be posting product photos and links soon !! SO excited to start this new part of our journey !!

To have a dream or idea is beautiful but, recently I feel as though I've been living in a fantasy world. My real life is something I am running away from, there are some things you just can't ignore and this feels like one of them. In the last year I had so many changes and became a entirely new person at least in my eyes because my relationship with myself has changed drastically. I know my normal content may be a little more optimistic and cheerful but this is where life has me right now so I''m sitting in it. "Be where your feet are" - Jason Mraz. Life is beautifully complicated. We are all just trying to make since of it and in doing so, I decided I needed to talk about where I am mentally. I do this to remind anyone and everyone who may feel the same way, that they are not alone. I love you all so much Fellow Humans. Happy New Year !!!

"I allow life to be easy" - This has been turning through my mind more than ever recently!! The Holidays are upon us and are strengths will be tested. Wether it's traveling with family you don't see often, keeping weight off when there is so much food to be tried, or working the most stressful time of the year. We all have added stresses around this time of year ( not to mention, in the coldest time of year when we are supposed to be resting ). I don't know about you but, I'd love for things to be a little bit easier. In this episode, I speak on how boredom helps my progress and how simply allowing life to be easy, is possible. Try next time saying to the things you "have to do" . "I get to do this today". There is light and dark in everything we do and everywhere we go. If you can see the dark, why not try choosing the light? I love you all and I will definitely have my listeners in my thoughts when I think of all I'm thankful for this year.

Have you ever broken a bone ? If you have, you are well aware that you can't walk or run until the bone is healed... That bone just suffered a blunt force trauma. So why is it, that we are less likely to let our mental state heal from a trauma or loss? We keep showing up for work, keep doing the same routines as if nothing is wrong, as if nothing has changed. Change is scary, but to grow and heal ... changes must occur. If you stay in the same space for ten plus years it becomes comfortable. It's almost as if you could predict tomorrow because, it has been so similar for so long. Now, I'm not saying you can't stay somewhere for long and grow. This is possible but, it takes acceptance of trusting the process and finding joy in everyday. If you have had any big life changes recently I want you to know it will be ok, just keep faith and remember, "it is all, as it should be". I love you all so much !!!

Three easy steps. Three small changes. Three small actions. That will change everything... I know that sounds like a lot to promise but, the proof is in the pudding for my experience. This journey of self growth I've been on recently has been so beautiful and I can't , not share it with the ones I love most. Three ways to set intention and create space to love and take care of yourself everyday just soon like key ingredients to me.
Moment
Movement
Meditation ( or if you haven't practiced meditation yet, intention setting will get the ball rolling)
When we start to create more space for the present moment we began realize we are in the drivers seat of our own life. Though there is so much in this world we can not control... how we react and choose to feel are things we can control. You've got to start somewhere at sometime. So why not try now ? With this practice! I love you all so much and appreciate you more than you could ever imagine. Try this for at least a week and tell me how it goes!! I'll be waiting.

These two sayings are gold to me. They remind me to focus on the positive "what ifs", whenever we give up the money we want to save for a furniture dream in order to temporarily relive the stress of the day or we let the negative "what ifs" kill our inspiring ideas. We have the CHOICE !!! Everyday we can either let experiences build us or tear us down and though we don't have control over much... this CHOICE allows us to at least grab the steering wheel. I love you all so much and hope todays episode speaks to you in someway or fashion. This life is so beautiful and it would be a shame to let it pass us by. Grab that steering wheel and make the CHOICE to live life to its fullest!!

I know I'm not the only one who has struggled with perfection killing my progress. In this episode I tell my two top secrets to how I get sh#t done!! These tips may see a little on the strange side but, trust me when I say they have made a world of difference. We are all so talented and have beautiful perspectives. By not sharing these gifts with the world we loose opportunities at what we all cherish so much deep down... connection. The longer we let something pass us by the harder it feels to reach, when in reality as soon as we try, it shows that it was never as hard as we thought it to be. I love you all so much fellow humans and remember we are all doing our best!

You can not have what you want - This can be a very confusing statement to many I'm sure, as it was for me to. Speaking from a place of want is speaking from a place of "lack of". This podcast is so important to me because recently I manifested some big changes in my life!! Though at first, they were not easily recognized as the changes I expected. This was because I was so focused on the outcome I wasn't seeing the shifts as what they truly were. Now, I understand that to manifest things you must live in a state of already owning it. I am abundant in support, love, friends, and so much more. This life has the potential to be as beautiful as we make it. Come create a life worth living with me rather than just a Living... I love you all so much and hold you all very dear ! I know we are all capable of wonderful things and can't wait to hear what you are manifesting for yourself.
Alrighty, I know last week's episode left you curious and wanting to hear more!! I can assure you it was worth the wait. This time around in, part 2 Kendall and I touched on the experience of a not only losing one Father figure in her life but, two. This story is not easy to share so, please be aware tears are more than welcomed in this space. Most if not, all of us, have experienced a loss before and this episode's purpose is to educate others, that any and every emotion you ever felt was , ok. There is no specific order to grieve, there may be many types but, no one should expect to feel any specific way at a given time of losing someone. We all have different perspectives and stories to tell. Thank you, to Kendall for being so brave and feeling called to share with us today !!

Wow, how juicy was this? Kendall had so many amazing experiences to speak from in today's podcast. As you can see I made this into a part 1 and part 2, to really emphasize each type of grief. We talk on grieving a lost relationship as well as losing a loved one. Healing is different for everyone and their is no universal way to grieve. With tools such as; forgiving, self-awareness, and always asking why ( why do I feel sad or mad today) we can at least fell a bit more productive through the grieving process. Thank you so much for listening and I hope you all enjoyed this part 1 and I can't wait to share next weeks podcast with you beautiful souls!!

Anyone else lacking consistency lately ? To be consistent is to be reliant, accountable, and true to who you really want to be. Notice I said who you "want" not who you are. I only emphasize this because everyday is an opportunity for growth and I feel that many who struggle with similar things as I do, will know that being consistent isn't all that easy. It takes hard work and longevity to acquire full on consistency but, you have to start somewhere. So if you are struggling with this similar to the way I am, join me in my trials where I'm sure there will be many wins and loses. No one is perfect.... perfect is imaginary. First step is to achieve the small goals, things you know you have time and space for but you continuously put off ( isn't that funny we are consistent in that!!) I am here for you my loves and only want whats best for any and all. If you are wanting to grow start small!! No one ever achieved greatness by just waking up and being great... it takes work, energy, and time to be who/what you want to be.

No matter who you are, at least once in your life there will be a hard conversation. These conversations really don't have to be so hard. In today's podcast I talk about my experience with the difficult convos and some tips and tricks I use to help me push forward. In todays world it is always easier to either say noting at all or use communications such as text or email which don't always get the point across. Be direct. Be open. and the rest will follow. I hope y'all enjoy and please do send me any messages either via, facebook, instagram, anywhere on what convos you may be struggling to have or finally did have. I want to know how it made you feel when you finally did express yourself.
When it comes to breathing I've had my issues but, never did I think that breath work could help with anxiety, sleep, and overall health. Throughout the last year or so with the pandemic placing obstacles around our breath, I recorded this episode in hopes 2021 can be the year we really conquer, focus and improve on our breathing. This app called "BreathWrk" has been my absolute savior in finding exercises that could really target certain areas of my life. This app is FREE and includes so many options and exercises to help you gain the knowledge and practices that go hand in hand with breath work. I always speak from my own experiences and this is a big one to me. I hope as you listen today we can all find the importance in taking care of ourselves and in more ways then one.
Hello everyone, so excited to share the episode with you. I recently had a weekend in Nashville, Tn that was pretty life changing. Now I know that sounds a bit dramatic but in the end it really did have such an effect on both, Alan and I. We had planned on celebrating Chriss's birthday which we definitely did!! We just had no idea we would find life long friends / family in the end. This episode just touches on an amazing experience that I would 10/10 recommend. All because of a card game Alan and I left feeling more open, more communicative, and full of gratitude.
Hello my people, hope you have all been well!! Today we touch on something I know I have suffered with all of my 23 long years on this Earth, and I have a feeling so have you. This is "Fear of Success", the fear of all fears. The things that so easily keep us from accomplishing our dreams and chasing our passions. Listen in if you would like to know some of my tips and tricks on how to over come the fear of all fears. With small everyday practices it can be less daunting to make that next step. Please, if you have any experience in over coming this mountain we've created out of molehills, SPEAK OUT. Let us in on your secrets and help us grow. Thank you all so much for your support, I couldn't do it without you.
I touched base on my first episode of some mental illnesses I've experienced in my life. If someone had taught mental education to me with the same importance as physical education, those illnesses may not have taken such a toll. I believe strongly that mental education should share just as much importance as physical, nutritional, or financial. This podcast is a CALL TO ACTION!!! people. The first step is, to speak out and share your truth. It can be difficult dealing with these illness alone and without proper information. The more we speak and the more we share the easier these day to day stresses and traumatic events will be resolved. Not only will we know how to take care for ourselves physically but, mentally as well. Thank you all for the constant support!! You are real ones and I don't know if I could do this without you. If you have any additional information you would like to share with the community and me. I strongly suggest leaving a comment on facebook or instagram.

Hello everyone!!! So nice to have you here. This weeks FIRST EVER podcast episode has finally arrived. This will just be a little introduction and sharing some detail on my Why?, as well as learning where the podcast idea originated from. I am still learning the ins and outs on editing with Anchor but I'm shooting to have an intro recorded by next episode. I am also aware there are some weird spaces in between some parts, so sorry but like I say in the podcast, "You can't wait for perfection". It will be corrected by next episode don't you worry!
