What's the T?

Happy New Year! It's 2022 and WhatstheTbookclub podcast is back with another season of "T" and good books we think you should read. In this episode, Ron and I unpack the many topics and themes we took from The Nickel Boys by Colson Whitehead. What's the T?

As 2021 comes to a close, Ron and I give our "T" on December's novel, Bad Monkey's by Matt Ruff. For those of you who have not heard of the author, you may know some of his work like... Lovecraft Country. The title is indeed a TV series, but Matt Ruff is the author of the novel!

During this episode, Ron and I take a deep dive into the fiction novel. We provide our different perspectives and ratings on the book, discuss other books we have enjoyed reading from the bookclub this year, and reveal what book we will be reading for January 2022!

In this episode, Ron and I discuss some gems we took away from the guide Deep Work by Cal Newport. You will hear how this novel is important to us and how we both are working to develop our deep thinking skills as we navigate life. In addition, we discuss our favorite quotes and introduce a new topic— the most used word(s) by the author in the book!
