The first episode of our Pride Month Series! Obviously, these episodes were scheduled to upload in June but we didn't want to scrap these episodes just because they weren't uploaded for their scheduled times. This episode features our friend Melannie who made us laugh the entire episode. She talks about finding her sexuality and still being confused about it, funny stories about her family and boyfriend, and becoming more confident through her appearance.

We're back after a while! We took a short break for mental health reasons but we still wanted to upload the podcast episodes we had planned. This one is with our good friend Malynn, who is going to be a freshman in college. We talked about college, rejection, overall high school experience, and missing out on senior year because of Covid. Since we're all Asian women, we talked about the Asian hate crimes and growing up Asian in America and how that experience was for all of us.

In this very first episode of Proficiently Chaotic, we talk about our experiences with distance learning and reflect on our old school days. This pandemic has hit everyone pretty hard, and we wanted to share our thoughts and emotions about being teenagers at this hard time. We also bring up important issues such as BLM and the unfortunate event that happened with Daunte Wright. As well as AAPI hate and the recent rise in attacks on Asians. Make sure to wish Jocelyn a "Happy Birthday" (this podcast goes up the day right after her birthday)! They are the ones most affected by the pandemic and the rise in Asian hate crimes. Many small Asian businesses rely on their stores to make all their income, so it would be better to buy from them than big Asian corporations that know how to use the internet. The most important thing you can do for our POC (People of Color) communities is to educate yourself and use your voice. Please do not divide yourselves from each other but stand together to combat this unjust system we were born into.
