The episode is a one-on-one conversation between Jo-Joe and Joel. Our co-hosts discuss their backgrounds with being houseless in the Bay Area and how those lived experiences fueled their passion for social justice work, which led to the creation of Urban Reziliency. Urban Reziliency is currently obtaining 501(c)(3) status. Urban Reziliency was began in the Bay Area and hopes to alleviate the houselessness crisis for Indigenous and 2SLGBTWIA+ folxs.
