Through the years, I’ve seen two types of clients ✌🏾

  • 😏 The mom who comes to work with me knowing she’s been hurt by her mother and is now fighting off anxiety, anger, and perfectionism as a result.
  • 🧐 The mom who comes to work with me for anxiety, anger, and perfectionism but (almost) refuses to acknowledge any hurt from her mother.

Now while not all of my clients have the mother wound, about 90% of them did.

In this episode I break down why it’s so hard for my clients who have the mother wound to be honest about their hurt.

Usually, when we hear about self-care, it is related to time. You've heard it, make time for yourself. Put yourself on your schedule. And I have fallen prey to talking about time as it relates to self-care. But the more I think about it, the more I live, the more I talk to moms just like you, I'm starting to kind of rethink it a little bit. And I think self-care actually has less to do with the amount of time that you have and more to do with three discoveries I've come across.

So in this episode, we're diving deep beyond the surface level of "just find time!" and looking for the root! So come on in, grab your blanket, and let's chat.
