The gang returns to make their NFL weekly predictions! I have challenged my friends to beat me in weekly predictions. If they can, the best predictor will win a jersey of their choice! A few big games this week include the Dallas Cowboys at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Chicago Bears at Los Angeles Rams and Green Bay Packers at New Orleans Saints! We are so happy the NFL season has returned! Next week, we will try to live stream our predictions so make sure to come back and give us your feedback!
The NHL Stanley Cup Finals are finally upon us! The Montreal Canadiens look to dethrone the defending champions, Tampa Bay Lightning! The Canadiens are on a dream playoff run by defeating the Toronto Maple Leafs, Winnipeg Jets and Vegas Golden Knights. The Lightning defeated the Florida Panthers, Carolina Hurricanes and New York Islanders to return to the big dance. Will the Canadiens be the first team to bring the championship back to Canada or will the Lightning be back-to-back champions?!
The NHL Final 4 have been set in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. In a repeat matchup from last season, the New York Islanders look to take down the defending Stanley Cup Champions in the form of the Tampa Bay Lightning. On the other side of the conference championships, The Montreal Canadiens will hope to spoil year 4 of the Vegas Golden Knights. Both matchups are going to be difficult for all 4 contenders, but only the best of the best will remain.
The NHL is set for round 2 of the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs! The North division has yet to solidify who will be taking on the Winnipeg Jets in round two. This will either be the Toronto Maple Leafs or the Montreal Canadiens. The Jets swept the Edmonton Oilers and have been waiting long enough to know who their opponent is. In the East, the Boston Bruins will play host to the New York Islanders. Both teams coming off impressive wins against the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins, respectfully. In the Central division, The Carolina Hurricanes will take on the defending Stanley Cup champions, the Tampa Bay Lightning. Lightning are coming off an win over the Florida Panthers and the Hurricanes defeated the Nashville Predators to be where they are. In the West division, two juggernauts will collide. The Colorado Avalanche look to break the President's Trophy curse, but will have to go through the Vegas Golden Knights to do so. The Avalanche swept the St Louis Blues, whereas, the Golden Knights went the distance against the Minnesota Wild. So many great series! This is going to be an exciting round 2!
The NHL Playoffs are finally upon us! Will the Colorado Avalanche win the Stanley Cup as the odds on favorite? Lots of hockey to be played to determine the outcome! The Toronto Maple Leafs play the Montreal Candiens. Edmonton Oilers will take on the Winnipeg Jets. The Pittsburgh Penguins will play the New York Islanders. Washington Capitals will play the Boston Bruins. Carolina Hurricanes will take on the Nashville Predators. Florida Panthers will play the Tampa Bay Lightning. Colorado Avalanche will play the St Louis Blues. Finally, The Vegas Golden Knights will play Minnesota. Only one of these 16 teams will earn the right to hoist the Stanley Cup.
The Vegas Golden Knights have guaranteed themselves a spot in the 2021 NHL Playoffs! I take a brief look at how players like Mark Stone and Max Pacioretty helped them make it. Marc-Andre Fleury and Robin Lehner have also been one of the best goalie tandems this season!
On March 12, 2020, the NBA, NHL, and MLB had all suspended their operations due to the pandemic. The NFL would also be affected by the virus. For a little more than 4 months, there were no sports being played. However, through teams pushing for the finish, we were able to have sports return and finish. We crowned 4 champions. Sports responded to the pandemic in a huge way and it feels like we are almost finished with the worst of it. Here is the year in review.

Teams are playing in front of no fans, there's no crowd noise, and they are only playing divisional opponents. How has that played into the overall goal scoring especially with games being postponed?

Nik, Ben, Chris, Tanner and DJ make their Super Bowl LV (55) Predictions! The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take on the Kansas City Chiefs in their home stadium for the first time in NFL history. The Chiefs will be looking to be the first team since the 2003-2004 Patriots to win back-to-back Super Bowl championships. The Buccaneers return to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2002 while being led by Tom Brady. Tom Brady will be seeking his 7th Super Bowl victory and his first from the NFC. Brady is known as the GOAT (Greatest of all Time), while Patrick Mahomes has been phenomenal since joining the league. This seems like it could be a "passing of the torch" game. We are excited! Nik and Tanner are one game apart in the standings. This game will decide who win the jersey of their choice!!!!

The Buffalo Bills will take on the Kansas City Chiefs for the AFC title and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take on the Green Bay Packers for the NFC title. 4 teams with Super Bowl hopes will be reduced to 2 after this weekend.
