We are an organisation that provides support for victims of sexual violence, assault and/or harassment for all individuals from the ages of 16 and up.
Founded by Meredith in July, 2020, we have helped over 300 people come to terms with their sexual trauma and helped them speak up about their experiences by empowering them with resources and skills in how to talk about their experiences to their loved ones.
It can be really scary reaching out for support - especially if you haven't spoken to anyone about what has happened, but don't worry, here at Say it Loud, we are here to support you. We know how difficult it is to make that first step in contacting someone and so we want to make it as easy as possible for you. Please use our website: https://www.sayitloudspace.com/wanttotalk to view options on how to reach out to the team.
Sometimes it's easier to talk to those who have experienced it, join our Facebook group to support and communicate with other survivors, please visit our group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/3231376243615224
It can be overwhelming asking for support, so if you'd rather some space between to collect your thoughts, email our trained team who will respond to you in 3-5 working days: contact@sayitloudspace.com
Disclaimer: Sexual violence and terms such as rape will be spoken about throughout this episode.
If you are effected by any of the topics spoken about in this episode, please reach out on our Instagram @sayitloudspace for emotional support.
Join the Say it Loud team in discussions on sexual trauma.
Trigger warning: sexual violence, sexual assault, forms of sexual violence and r*pe will be used throughout.
If this is something that you have experienced and you would like to talk to someone about this, please message @sayitloudspace on Instagram, Facebook or email: sayitloudspace@gmail.com and a trained volunteer will contact you soon.
Say it Loud is a sexual violence listening service and support group. We provide emotional support for those who have experienced a form of sexual violence, assault and/or harassment.
