Remember, King Ahasuerus never knew Esther was a Jew at the time he made that decree. Mordecai instructed her not to tell. So asking her maids to fast with her was also risky because they were not Jews too. She could only do that because she had a positive influence on them that bred love and trust in return. Influence is power but the difference between influence and manipulation is influence is never forced, it comes naturally. So the queen's maids naturally agreed to fast with her💪💪.
