THE FOUNDERS STORYKathy Waters and Colonel Bryan Denny (Ret.) co-founded the advocacy organization in 2020. Bryan is a victim of online identity theft, with his photos misused extensively on social media, causing emotional and financial harm to many, including Kathy Waters’ mother’s friend. Kathy contacted Bryan to confirm the scam, and they collaborated to raise awareness among users, congressional departments, and other government agencies. With the support of their Board of Directors, they’ve been dedicated to this cause ever since.

face up to 10 years in prison. The Baltimore Police Report number is # 1-16-09-13524. It is labeled as a “dispute” only because she is my wife; in fact, there was no “dispute” since I discovered the theft only after she was gone (but before her plane was to take off). I was able to get into the apartment because I had told the woman at the front desk to send a locksmith before driving my wife to the airport."

A little backdrop of my story. I was in a romance scam that lasted 2 1/2 months and it ended 8 months ago. I met him on Tinder and lost $26,000. I almost lost $50,000 more but when I went to take money out of my retirement account, I told my financial advisor the whole story and he said he thought I might be in a romance scam.
When I ended it, I made a quick decision to live my life to the fullest and started advocating. I am also a comedy improv performer.
