Mark 5:21-43 New Living Translation Jesus Heals in Response to Faith21 Jesus got into the boat again and went back to the other side of the lake, where a large crowd gathered around him on the shore. 22 Then a leader of the local synagogue, whose name was Jairus, arrived. When he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet, 23 pleading fervently with him. “My little daughter is dying,” he said. “Please come and lay your hands on her; heal her so she can live.”
24 Jesus went with him, and all the people followed, crowding around him. 25 A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding. 26 She had suffered a great deal from many doctors, and over the years she had spent everything she had to pay them, but she had gotten no better. In fact, she had gotten worse. 27 She had heard about Jesus, so she came up behind him through the crowd and touched his robe. 28 For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.” 29 Immediately the bleeding stopped, and she could feel in her body that she had been healed of her terrible condition.
30 Jesus realized at once that healing power had gone out from him, so he turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my robe?”
31 His disciples said to him, “Look at this crowd pressing around you. How can you ask, ‘Who touched me?’”
32 But he kept on looking around to see who had done it. 33 Then the frightened woman, trembling at the realization of what had happened to her, came and fell to her knees in front of him and told him what she had done. 34 And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.”
35 While he was still speaking to her, messengers arrived from the home of Jairus, the leader of the synagogue. They told him, “Your daughter is dead. There’s no use troubling the Teacher now.”
36 But Jesus overheard[d] them and said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith.”
37 Then Jesus stopped the crowd and wouldn’t let anyone go with him except Peter, James, and John (the brother of James). 38 When they came to the home of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw much commotion and weeping and wailing. 39 He went inside and asked, “Why all this commotion and weeping? The child isn’t dead; she’s only asleep.”
40 The crowd laughed at him. But he made them all leave, and he took the girl’s father and mother and his three disciples into the room where the girl was lying. 41 Holding her hand, he said to her, “Talitha koum,” which means “Little girl, get up!” 42 And the girl, who was twelve years old, immediately stood up and walked around! They were overwhelmed and totally amazed. 43 Jesus gave them strict orders not to tell anyone what had happened, and then he told them to give her something to eat.

Biblical Hebrew has its own term for pioneer with the idea of Chalutz (pioneer). translated as “warriors” or
“armed men”.
They go before the priests in Joshua 6:7 at the battle of Jericho, and in Deuteronomy 3:18 they are members of the tribes of Reuben, Gad and Manasseh who will be first into the land of Canaan when they cross the Jordan to enter the Promised Land.

The root verb choregeo gives us our English word choreography which is defined as the sequence of steps and movements in dance, the arrangement of movements that the audience sees on the stage.
Your spiritual life was divinely choreographed, you’re his production -- God has "written" the music and words and movements of the production even before the foundation of the world.

After this Jesus went to the other side of the Lake of Tiberias, which is also known as Lake Galilee.
And a massive crowd of people followed him everywhere. They were attracted by his miracles and the healings they watched him perform. Jesus went up the slope of a hill and sat down with his disciples.

If you want a revival, you'll have to have a revelation. A revelation of who God is and what He can do through you.
He wants to use you for His mighty plan!
You cannot live the same way and expect a revival! If you want to see a global revival it starts with a personal revival.

If you want to see a revival, its time to unite. Unity comes before revival. What comes before unity is humility, because I have to humble myself, to lay down my selfish ambitions to unify with the King.

The lower we go, the more it gives God the opportunity to exalt us in the way that other people can tell what the will of God looks like.

No height nor depth, tribulation, stresses, persecution, famine, danger, physical harm, life or death, angels, rulers, nor the things present or things to come. No power can seperate you from the love of God.
Not only do you have faith given by God, but you have also been given the ability to use the faith. You are not inferior in any way, the problem isn't whether you're good enough or not, but the problem is how we see our own righteousness and God given potential.
Jesus is our promise keeper. Not only this, but in Jesus our promises are Yes and Amen! Your healing, your provision and your assurance is all found inside of Jesus. The beautiful thing about this is that you are co-dwelling with Christ and nothing can separate that which has been formed through His blood.
Believing is Seeing. The enemy keeps us in the same spot by keeping us feeling disadvantaged in our circumstances, but God shows us that we can breakout of our disadvantaged mindset. We no longer have to stay stuck in the battles that have come our way, but we can continue to accelerate forward into the things that God has promised.
Moving from the natural to the supernatural. God has equipped you and given you faith to believe and receive before you see it in the natural. Sometimes it may be challenging, but be encouraged to break out from what you can visibly see right in front of you to the reality God wants to show you.
The things that God spoke to His people in the bible are all relevant to you. Because when He spoke to Abraham, you were there. When He spoke to Joshua, you were there. When He spoke to His disciples, you were there. Whatever truth and promise you read in His Word, receive it for yourself.
God has equipped you with His Word and put His truths in your mouth. You have the choice to speak it out - it goes out and accomplishes the Word of God spoken through you. The shift you see is in the Words God has given you to proclaim over your life and circumstance.
When God speaks, His Word goes out and has to obey Him by accomplishing what it was sent out to do. It doesn't return without fulfilling it. God wants to encourage you today that you have the same authority that He has - because Jesus has given it to you. So now, you are equipped with the power of the Word of God - speak it.
God has called us to be wise builders. We build with our words - it's either words to encourage and bless or words to curse and tear down. There are things we are trying to build - marriage, family, etc... but some of us are tearing the very thing we're trying to build by the words that we use. God wants to shift your speech today because your words have power.
The areas in your life that's paralysed, God wants to remove that. But do you really want it? Some of us have gotten comfortably uncomfortable. Maybe we're happily unhappy because we are so stuck in the comfort of the familiar. God wants to remove the paralysed things in your life.
Going to the wrong source will never leave you satisfied. Fixing a problem with the wrong methods will leave you feeling stuck in the same place. Adam and Eve had an eternal problem, but using their own efforts they tried to cover up with a temporary answer. Is this you today? Trying to cover up with a temporary solution?
We go through a narrow path so that the things that aren't meant to be there won't be carried into your next season. Sunday Sermon by Ps Ted shares that where God wants to bring you, not everything that is in your life now can be with you in your next season. What's something that you know can't go with you in your next season; unforgiveness, bitterness, fear, etc.
The danger about a comfort zone is that we settle into the familiar and push away the comfort that God can give us. Comfort isn't a bad thing, it's the source of comfort that can lead us closer to God or further away from Him. When God is wanting to do a new thing in our life, have we rejected the very thing God wants to give us because we're too deep in our comfort zone?
From one position to another. Jesus took our place and positioned us with the fullness of what He receives - full access to God's unconditional love and right standing with Him.
Jesus has signed His life away for you. He sealed you with His blood and delivered you from all your weaknesses. He has also sealed you with the precious Holy Spirit. We are encouraged to take our eyes off of ourselves, and put it on Jesus. In Him we are made new. In Him we are made whole.
Your NEW nature as a believer of Jesus is that you are now ONE with Christ. What Jesus did by taking your place and trading places with you, allows you to have access to the family of God. This new nature encourages you to turn from your old ways and pursue the life God has designed for you.
The way the love of God works is not on the same level as our earthly understanding of love. God's love is unconditional, and at times our love is conditional. God wants to bring you to a place where you've stepped into the overflow of a God-kind of love where the source is from being in His presence. It is not a love sourced from yourself because we cannot love people without God helping us to love.
In the Kingdom of God, you don't have to work for the acceptance of favour and grace. It can't be earned. Outside the Kingdom of God, you got to work for the favour. Inside the Kingdom, faith is doing the work for you. Outside the Kingdom, you're doing the work out of your own efforts.
Stop trying to fight what God wants to give you by trying to do it on your own.
Fear is something that was taught. The Israelites were taught to be a slave and it was derived from fear. God wants to bring you from a place of fear to a place of freedom.
Doubt is attracted to your faith. Have you ever believed for something and doubt came into your mind to discourage you? This sermon encourages you and equips you to overcome doubt and receive your promise.
God has a specific purpose in mind when He created you, but when sin entered the world we have now been reprogrammed by the teaching of sin. Shame, guilt, condemnation, fear are all introduced and we are now reprogrammed to be that.
But God wants to bring you from the place where you're at to a place of breakthrough.
Before sin entered the world, love and grace was there in the beginning. God says He is alpha and omega - beginning and end. He is not reactionary, He is proactive. He does not give things based on our merits, but by His own heart and desire. So what He has spoken/given to you is not based on how good you have been, but because of how GOOD He is.
God can change your life around. There's nothing that you have done that can remove the calling on your life. Your sin is not more powerful than God's forgiveness. This is all because of the unconditional love of God. No matter what you have done and where you find ourself today, God's love remains the same.
Jesus is the way maker - He not only tells us how we should live as new creations, but He shows us as well. When we accept Jesus into our hearts, the old nature is now gone. Often times we find it a battle between our old nature and the NEW way we are called to live.
Sometimes we expect our situation to change in order for us to change, but sometimes God is wanting to change us before our situation. Do you find yourself in a situation and asking God to change your circumstances? What if God is wanting to do a miracle and breakthrough in you (internally) before He does something for your situation (externally).
Every time you speak you are planting a seed in the atmosphere. What you speak produces a seed. What seed are you planting in your atmosphere today? Seed of hope, life and truth or of doubt, fear and negativity?
There's power in your speech. There's power in choosing WHO you respond to. Every conversation has a purpose - God's purpose is to build you up, encourage you and lead you into all the good plans He has for you. The enemy wants to derail you, make you give up and doubt your calling.
When you lose the energy to shout and proclaim the things of God over you, lean on the strength of God - He will be your voice. He does not stop speaking over you with good things.
Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Spirit given faith is when we are led by the Holy Spirit and leaning on His guidance. We are not driven by the Spirit, but led.
Your words have power. Complaining can actually sabotage the very place God wants to bring you to. Be careful with what you come into agreement with. God encourages us in His Word that we have a choice of what words we choose to use - death or life, blessings or curses. Choose life today - with your words, actions and thoughts.
Break free from the voice of the accuser. Jesus came to settle our debt and silence not only the accusations against us, but also the source - the accuser. Powerful sermon to go for the root of the situation in order for the fruits to be dealt with.
Do you feel like you're in a season where you feel stuck - you're in the same place? God wants to move you from just surviving to thriving. God's moving you from survival to soaring.
Everyone is given a measure of faith - it is all about unlocking the faith already inside of you. Faith is unlocked by hearing the Word of God, so when God speaks to you through His Word, you have the capacity to believe and receive it. You have the capacity with the faith God has given you to receive what God has promised you.
Anything in your posession is limited, but when you give it to God He breaks the limit. God has elevated you to experience the multiplication.

The grace of God speaks over you today, "everything that is mine I give to you, everything that is yours I will take from you". What Jesus takes is our sin, our shame, our guilt and pain, in exchange for His wonderful grace.
When God has given a miracle to somebody else, it's an invitation to you that He can do the same for you. The supernatural is the provision of Heaven, and the testimony is the manifestation of it on earth. God's supernatural provision is for you.
How you see the Father determines how you pray. Jesus was the perfect example and model of how we are to approach the Father - not by our religious acts and formulas, but a relationship and conversation with Him.
Faith speaks. Faith acts. Faith rests. Faith is activated when we hear the Word of God. His desire is for your faith to speak out His truth.
God is ready to lift you up. Breakthrough is not based on our own efforts, but the goodness of God in our life. Your breakthrough is coming.
