This is a heritage podcast, all about how we got from there, to here, wherever there may be.
As someone who cannot help diving headfirst into a number of wikipedia shaped rabbit holes, I often come out with more questions than answers, alternate paths overgrown but with a nice light at the end. And most of these questions can't be answered with a quick google, sometimes whole clubs or societies are formed around one curious interest or sometimes it's trying to find the vibe of a community or area.
In this podcast, I interview a bunch of exciting, curious and knowledgeable folks about heritage in one way or another. Heritage of place or identity or language. Also I like to introduce folks who may be interested in one thing, Music Hall, to Manx folk music or what it was like to be gay in the 1970s.
Most of all, I hope you enjoy it.
