Have you ever been so sure of your purpose in life? Did you always feel like you knew what your plan was and then all of sudden in one way or another things just…changed? Now what would life be like if it didn’t include learning how to adapt when changing the course. This period in time has been an uphill battle with change, adaptation, and uncertainty. The reality is, these days nothing is certain and for some of us that has really taken a tole on our mental health. I had tons of short term and long term goals, some were even finally taking off right before the end of 2019. I had it all planned out and I was well on my way! However, that changed in many different ways and I would be lying if I didn’t say a lot of this time has made me feel unmotivated and often lost. Join me in this episode where I dive into the realities of change during uncertain times. It can be a scary place to be in and sometimes we even find ourselves questioning our entire purpose. It is okay if holding onto your ‘why’ while you do what you have to do to get by is all you can do right now. The world has a crazy way of redirecting our focus and plans for all the right reasons but we don’t always have to feel optimistic about the process.

We are back with a new episode and I must admit…it’s been a while! I am truly sorry for the lack of consistency these past couple of weeks with new episodes. Ironically enough, in this week’s episode, we discuss the beauty and importance in stillness and solitude — two things I had to do more of and needed this year in order to get all these thoughts in order! In this episode, I get a little more personal (even more than I already have) on my experiences and life lessons on learning to be still and learning to embrace solitude. Sometimes life hands us experiences that really shake us to our core, forcing us to stop so we can take a look around and realize that all that we are seeking lies within. I unpack this, and so much more based off 2 specific experiences in my life that physically forced me to sit, be still, and learn from my alone time. It is no coincidence that the main theme of this year was stillness for the entire world — what were we able to hear within ourselves and everything around us during it all? The year has come to an end, and if being still was all you did, or all you could do, know that it was more than enough and probably very needed. And if it wasn’t, join me in this week’s episode so you can hear how that went for me too!

How many times have you either heard or said: “I wish I was that creative!”??? I let you in on a little secret in this episode about creativity and the self. Whether you label yourself as creative or feel you have troubles being creative, whether you are a creative artist professionally or recreationally, we dive into the beauty of how creativity and life as a child are very similar. We also touch upon the concept of inner child work, and my own personal experiences learning how to apply it to life. As we grow older we become so conditioned to disregard the importance in being playful, imaginative and creative. I’m here to remind you that it’s okay to take a second and do so. There is no rule book to being creative and (spoiler alert): you can find it within! Join me in this weeks episode as we try to make sense of this all!

Hey! I’m so happy you’re back and tuning into My Masterpeace Toronto podcast’s second episode! Thank you again for welcoming the first episode with open arms. In episode 02, I dive right in and share with you my own personal current experiences and how that inspired me to dissect the culture we live by these days: “Positive vibes only!”, “take that negativity elsewhere!”. Am I not allowed in the positive vibes club if I have negative vibes I need to sort through? Where do I go? Where do I belong?! Sometimes we feel all the feels, sometimes we don’t feel at all, sometimes we radiate “positive vibes only” and all of it is valid! Our “bad” vibes do not make us any less worthy and require just as much love and attention as the “good” ones. I also briefly share my love for journaling and how that creative outlet has helped me in times like these! Join me as I try to make sense of this all…even in my own life!
