Yvonne Osondu is a parent of two lovely darlings, soon to be 30 and 26!
She is a massage therapist and Zen Shiatsu practitioner. Yvonne is a volunteer for the Ryerson midwifery education program and the board of directors for her housing coop.
Yvonne is studying something all the time. Privately she is either meditating or doing yoga both seem to be beneficial for better overall functioning.
Yvonne's latest fascination is making products from the bounty of her friend's garden. She makes body butter, massage oil, and deodorant.
Yvonne has been on the fence about joining a Toastmasters club. In this podcast, we will find out why Yvonne is hesitant. Who knows? Maybe we can convince her to visit Rita's club!

District 60 Director Wendy Williamson interviews John Ribeiro DTM. John is a published author, career life coach, certified leadership coach, podcast host and professional speaker. In his spare time he has a 9 to 5 job.
Jenilee Taylor, DTM, joined Toastmasters 14 years ago, and gave her icebreaker speech at her first official meeting because that is what she was told she was supposed to do. She was asked to step into the role of Club President just a few months later, and the next year she served as the District Public Relations Manager. And so began her long leadership service to the members of Toastmasters.
While her journey has not been typical, it has given her the foundation to help members at all levels realize their abilities, step up to challenges and overcome their fears . This is the reason Jenilee has stayed in the organization so long – because it provides her with the ability to help others fulfill their goals. (Especially the goals they think are a little too big.)
Jenilee is now serving her second term as International Region 6 Advisor, which to date has been her greatest adventure and biggest Toastmaster accomplishment.

Amin joined Toastmasters after surviving cancer and severe strokes to improve his speaking skills and rebuild his confidence.
Today, Amin Mali, PhD, P. Eng, is a member of two Toastmasters clubs and he is the co-founder of Hand Over Hand Network, a not-for-profit organization that brings seniors and students together. Check out handoverhand.net for more information about this great organization.

Carol joined Toastmasters to improve her speaking skills for her work as a college professor. She didn't see herself as a leader. It wasn't long before others saw her leadership skills. Carol was encouraged to step into leadership roles at her club, and then at the district.
Today, Dr. Carol Prahinski DTM is the International Director for Region 6 (which includes District 60) and she has received numerous awards, including being voted "Faculty Member with the greatest impact on student experience" by the graduating student body in 2018. What an incredible journey from her first days as a Toastmaster!
