I want to thank Gambler Bay and Dark Door Spirits for having me the last two weeks.  It has been an amazing experience meeting with them and learning about these uniquely Florida Distillers.  So in the second part of the formative years of bourbon we discuss how the technology developed to and how the repeal of the excise tax really helped to sprue the growth of bourbon.

So we finish the Primitive Years of Bourbon's interesting history and how it helped to form our countries identity.  Our third President played a major role in helping to create a climate that helped bourbon to explode and become more radiality available to the masses.  By removing the excise tax on distilled spirits it help lessen the financial burden on the farmers distillers.  It was funny though since Jefferson was more a wino and thought whiskey was the vein of society.  I also am very excited to mention that I will be teaming up on Tuesday with my friends at Gambler Bay Distillery to shoot a episode of them creating the American Malt Whisky.  A Florida first in maybe over a hundred years.  So i hope u guys tune in and join me on Tuesday on YouTube as we watch a whiskey being born!!!
