Technology Transfer: Recent Episodes

The ICGEB has launched a new series of seminars focusing on Technology Transfer. Renowned experts and TT professionals from academy and private sector, talk about key processes and definitions of TT, from commercialization aspects to the broader concept of impact, sharing their knowledge and experience in the valorization of research results, collaboration with industry, and promotion of entrepreneurship. The TT collection supports the understanding of the innovation process and its main players, highlighting opportunities and challenges for research scientists who are more and more engaged in developing new products and services to the benefit of society. Transfer of technology to industry is one of the statutory objectives of the ICGEB. The scientific and technical know-how generated by the Centre in various areas of biotechnology has significant potential in contributing towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
