I will be reading from a different translation in the episode; the English Standard Version (ESV). In chapter 7 we find that the Jews are seeking a reason to arrest Jesus, and that they are unable to do anything because it isn't God's time yet.

In this chapter the multitude, who ate and were filled, following Jesus across the lake. He teaches them how the manna sent to the children of Israel in the desert was a foreshadow of his life- giving purpose.

Notice how it is (almost imperceptibly) changing. Cook something fresh from scratch (no excuses, there are hundreds of recipes online). Then light a candle, turn off the noise, and sit down to eat that meal with all of your senses. Beauty.

The Charlotte Mason educational philosophy is fairly prevalent, and often diluted. I was attracted to this philosophy from the beginning, but it seemed to good to be true, so I didn't. Now in my last season of home educating, I decided that I had nothing to lose; I didn't want to have any regrets when I finished. This year is our first year of implementing the full feast.

Mokpo ended up being our favorite place to visit. I can't quite put my finger on the reason, but my daughter and I feel quite fondly about our couple of days there. Maybe it was because we finally felt confident in navigating transportation. Or maybe because getting to be by the sea was what we had longed to do. Whatever the reason, we loved Mokpo and miss it the most.

We thought a couple of bus rides meant we had it all figured out. Not. When we arrived in Pohang, we learned the bus system the hard way and quite quick. Pohang was wonderful. Lighthouse, ocean, and filming locations of one of our favorite k-dramas, Hometown ChaChaCha. It was a very quick trip, but we enjoyed it so much.
