As many of you know I am about to start working my 9-5 job, and I am so excited. There is something so special about working in an office everyday and seeing all the Lord will do in new environment. But, I know majority of the people I know are not eager to start work, feel lost, purposeless and that work is a punishment. I wanted to sit down and have a conversation about why I am so passionate about work, and why you should be too! This is a small new direction I want to take this podcast and I can't wait!!! Work is holy, work is good and we will work in Heaven! Also... ignore the how much I say um... lol.

This week’s topic is a bit of #hottake but, full of such TRUTH! Courtney comes onto the pod today to talk about how insecurity is rooted in pride! Sounds like a contradiction but isn’t in the slightest. We talk about how pride is putting yourself on the pedestal whether it is in a positive or a negative light, how to eliminate that pride, how important the gospel is and so much more! We both get honest about our lack of trust with the Lord, how prideful we became as people in church leadership and also how often we must be reminded of the truth of the gospel. A raw and honest conversation that is so special to me and I hope it is relatable to you! I pray the Lord uses it all to strip us of our price and reveal it in us!!!!!

This week’s episode is the FIRST episode in the new series, Corporate Christains! We were created to work and serve, and work is a joy and a privilege, so why do we not see it as such!? Today I invited one of my wisest and most well spoken friends who also happens to be in the workforce, Allie, to have an insightful conversation about honoring the Lord through your work, planting seeds in the office, not making productivity your identity and so much more. Allie tells us how she has been bold with her co-workers, how she makes such to start her morning with intention and keep that throughout the day, and how to reframe your mindset when it comes to your job. Happy Valentine's Day! My gift to you is an incredibly chaotic yet vulnerable episode about resting in the Lord's steadfast love, finding greater intimacy with Jesus, waiting seasons that aren't really waiting seasons & how I am still single. (lol). I wanted to have an episode where I was honest and authentic (!!!!!) about where I am right now but also showing how much the Lord is MOVING and give advice on how to wait well and surrender. I had noticed so many things I had been doing that were "standing in the way" of my worship and the Lord graciously showed me those parts of my life. Today I hope that after listening you are able to examine your own heart and life, gain some advice, become reminded of how amazing Jesus is & also have a few laughs!

Zoe has been through so much in her life but she has learned to kiss the wave that throws her onto the rock !!!! In this episode Zoe walks us through moments in her life and how the Lord showed her so much grace, relentless pursuit and faithfulness! We talk about the Lord’s character and how happy He is to call His children home! Zoe also was a student athlete so we dive into how that looked for her and also how believers can do a good job of welcoming them into the community. Crazy enough, Ella and I have only been with each other in person once before and we met Life Retreat two summers ago which was like the best weekend ever shoutout cabin 19!!! And funny enough, she was one of the first people I told I wanted to create this podcast, so it's only fitting to have her on. Ella has been through a lot: friendship issues, health issues, transferring schools, you name it! And she has tons of wisdom and advice to share with us all. My word of the year for 2024, is FREEDOM. Freedom from sin, freedom from death and freedom from striving! To my surprise, when I was going through my Google Drive to prep for the podcast, I found an old blog post I had written called, Live Free. It was such a cool sign from the Lord and had so many good reminders about living in Christ and living in freedom. What a vulnerable and encouraging episode !!!! If you are struggling with finding friends, making friends, building community, creating unity, forming reconciliation, anything friendship related under the sun: THIS IS FOR YOU! My friend Grace and I get deep in the hopes that you all listening won’t feel alone! We both open up about our anxieties and how that has hindered our friendships, our times when we felt so alone, all while laughing out loud almost the whole time. Grace gives wisdom and real life experience when it comes to having a friend in Jesus, practically looking for community, and having very difficult conversations. In today's episode I have my sweet friend Kathryn on the pod to talk about singleness and how she has used this season to find her identity in the Lord and the Lord only. We talk about feeling behind and comparing ourselves to others, or feeling like something is wrong with us because we are single. (Spoiler: There isn't!) This for the girl who feels unseen, forgotten, unworthy and neglected. The girls who have been battling the lie that they are not good enough to be loved because of mistakes in the past. If you truly believe the bible front to back, Then why do you not believe you are fearfully and wonderfully made and redeemed and forgiven? We talk about the Lord's faithfulness, His love that is more sufficient than any Earthly love will ever be, using your singleness to the fullest and so much more! I have been waiting for forever to have Gracie on the show, and it did not disappoint in the slightest! Gracie's story is full of such vulnerability, strength, boldness, and the Lord’s faithfulness is so apparent. She uses so much scripture this episode and brings it back to the Lord constantly! The former Miss Teen Louisiana talks about how she was relying on physical things in her life rather than the Lord, and how she learned to fully rely on Him and Him alone. I was so so excited to record this week’s episode because I knew my conversation with Megan Dobbs was going to be encouraging, convicting and life giving, and it was all those things and more! Megan has her own Podcast, The Weight of The Wait, which was born out of this idea that she was connecting her weight with her waiting (specifically when it came to singleness!) and how she wanted to break this idea that your body is your worth. We break down those lies in todays episode, as well as talk through how we are all waiting on this side of Heaven! And because of that, we must wait well and wait in a way that brings Glory to God. Megan vulnerably talks about shame, healing and inviting and trusting God is those aspects of our lives. She is incredible wise and honors the Lord fully with her life. She also gives tangible tips on how to best wait well, in whatever season you are in.

Roles reversed! Today's episode is a little different because I have my younger sister Cate, an incoming Freshman in college, ask me questions about freshman year. Some of the questions she came up with, and some of the questions YOU guys came up with. In this episode we talk about finding community, standing firm in faith, how to not feel homesick and so much more. Cate gets vulnerable with her current feelings towards school, and I do with my freshman year trials as well. We talk about things like receiving praise fro the wrong audience, how to find confidence in the Lord, the fleetingness of world beauty and how to focus on glorifying God rather than yourself. If you have listened to this podcast for a while now you know how passionate I am about greek life and rush as a whole. so, I thought it would be a fun idea to do a podcast not just for greek life but recruitment in general. And not just for girls going through rush, but also girls who are on the other side doing the rushing! Rush as a whole can bring out a lot of negativity and sin, on either side. And I wanted to do this episode to help girls see ways they can glorify and lift up the Lord and, ways they can just straight up get through it. These days are long and stressful and you are constantly thinking about what other people think of you. So I hope this episode brings some encouragement and light to a stressful time. I have 3 girls. I am talking to: my friend Olivia who was on her chapter's rush team this past year, my friend Izzy who just went through rush in Fall of 2023 and my friend Allie who just graduated and has been through rush and rushed girls for the past three years. And she has one of the most significant impacts on young girls, more than anyone I know. She gave two powerful messages at women’s conference about pursing the Lord when you don’t feel like it and mental health, and in today’s episode we dive deeper into both. This podcast is a candid conversation about anxiety and its effects, but how it is possible to renew your mind and build your firm foundation on the Lord. In this week's episode and my 35th one (crazy we are here already!!) I have my cousin and one of my role models Ava Schweinger on air. Ava is the Director of Christian Education at Holy Trinity in Edmond, Oklahoma. And I had so much fun getting to ask her about life in ministry, how the Lord brought her there and what it is like to be a women in her position. She spoke about the challenges, uncertainty and surrender that comes with a job like that, and how the Lord has shaped her and worked through her during those times and seasons outside of her comfort zone. This is an episode for the one is is afraid of change and losing control, and who may have issues with putting the Lord at the forefront of their challenges and success. And the one who needs help rejoicing in suffering. Ava has been a long time role model for me, and the closest thing I have to an older sister growing up. I am so overjoyed for you all to listen and glean such knowledge that the Lord used Ava to give! ENJOY!
This week’s episode I had the chance to catch up with my friend Caroline who decided to take a gap year with Circuit Riders rather than go to College. Circuit Rider’s mission is to save the lost, revive the saved and train them all. We dive into Caroline’s experience this past year and gain lots of wisdom and solid advice. We talk about everything from the simple gospel, to the glory of God, to her favorite guest speakers, an average day and everything in between. This is an episode that will set you free from sin, shame and guilt. An episode that will light you on fire to live radically for the Lord. What an episode full of such VULNERABILITY and STRENGTH !!!! Charlotte is such a sweet and wise friend who willing shares her weakness and struggles on today’s episode, but praises God for using her anyway. With summer coming up, I know a lot of us can fall into negative self thoughts when it comes to our bodies while at the beach/ pool and personalities when it comes staring new jobs and working at camps/ internships. In this episode we dive into both of those thoughts and lies, and what really matters: We are meant to look or act perfect we are meant to spread the gospel and follow Jesus. She reminds us to stop making an idol of our body, but realize what we are fully created for! She goes deep into some of her past, and also the seeds the Lord has planted to lead her way she is today. A sweet unique episode !!!! I hope this helps all who listen!

This week's episode is an exciting one !!! I met Kinley this summer on 30A but have been following her on Instagram since I was in middle school. It has been so cool how the Lord has brought us together recently, but been planting the seed for so long! Kinley is an incredible guest who you may know from many places, from Instagram, TikTok Vsco and so much more, she is an influencer IT girl and an icon in the 30A insta community. ( and it girl on insta in general!) In this episode we talk about her experience with becoming an influencer, especially at such a young age, and how she stayed grounded in truth. We also talk about being in the present moment, being where your feet are, and living out your purpose. Kinley is someone who I look up to in that aspect, and she gives such wisdom on the subject. Especially since she is experiencing quite a bit of change her self. We also have a bit of fun talking about things like her job at WantLocker and her Amazon Favs !!!! Enjoy! Maggie is such an inspiration to many down the row at LSU< and shares her wisdom and knowledge she has gained from the past four years. With rush coming up so soon, I thought this episode would be fitting for current actives & girls who will soon be running home! In this week’s episode we talk about everything from being a light in your chapter, inviting people in and standing firm within your faith. She also gives insight into how she built a culture of Christian community within her chapter. Maggie’s freshman year there was very little and the Lord provided such rich community, and He did that just starting with one person. What a sweet and encouraging conversation with my new friend and huge inspiration to be: Mary Patton! Mary Patton is the host of the Be Loved, Be Bold Podcast. This episode is so special to me and truly an example of the Lord’s faithfulness because, her podcast was actually a huge inspiration and catalyst the Lord used into having me start Authentic! In this episode we have a conversation about what it looks like to be loved and how that can lead to being bold, as well as comparison, the word of God, platforms, identity and so much more. You won’t want to miss this episode, especially because one podcast host talking to another is just too much fun! Thankful for Mary Patton’s willingness and the Lord faithfulness. “Comfort is what is distracting, and that is one of the biggest tools the devil can use to bring us away from the Lord” Today’s episode is with one of my first college friends — and not to mention one of the coolest people I know! Natalie is so much fun and so wise, and this episode’s focus is her recent semester spent in France. We talk about what lead to going to France, and how she had to learn to be present where she was before her time there! Natalie talks about how much she was taken out of her comfort zone but how that lead her to total dependence on the Lord, which is something we could all learn from. She lives her life as such a beautiful expression of Christ, and that is so evident in our conversation as well as her time abroad. It’s not easy to be a Christian overseas — so I encourage everyone who is studying abroad to listen — and also everyone who is not! It is a great reminder of how to share Christ and take a genuine interest in those around you. People are people and not projects! Plus we have some funny and sweet moments, and learn all about her time overseas! Such a good episode, about letting everything you do point to Jesus.

In today's episode I have such a fun and filling conversation with my fellow 30A buddy and social media queen Isabella! Isabella is a is a college student and influencer who recently just went on a mission trip to Italy. Italy seems like a place that would be overflowing with believers, but the churches there are empty! Isabella and her group had the chance to speak to the students of a local college there about Jesus and how much He has changed their lives, and she gives us all the details on the podcast! She also gives such solid advice on how to bring Jesus into everyday conversations, how to be bold in faith while in a secular community and how to rest in knowing the Lord's will be done. Isabella truly glorifies God in all she does, and that is seen in this whole episode. We also talk about how she manages her life as a Christian and an influencer, and talk about some of her must haves at the end. Today's episode is a long time coming, and with my role model and friend Kelsey Day (soon to be Bath!). It was inspired by an amazing message she gave this past year at Refuge Women's Conference. People pleasing and comparison can be extremely debilitating to anyone and especially to those who follow Jesus. Kelsey gives examples of how this has impacted her own life and how after hitting rock bottom, the Lord showed her what was wrong with her heart. We have a candid conversation about digging yourself out of these places, making sure you don't fall back in and how when you truly know the Lord and trust what He says, you can find so much freedom. We talk about how you are never enough and will never be enough, but that’s why Jesus came. You don’t need to be enough, because you never will be. There is freedom in that! Matthew 5:14-16. In today's episode I have one of my sweetest friends and first college friends, Carol Ann Harrison! During this episode we talk about how Carol Ann had tried so hard to fit in and be someone she was not and constantly strive for other peoples approval. And it was honestly exhausting and not realistic. She began to ask the questions: What and who I am living for, and who am I trying to get approval from? Jaycie is truly the definition of a ray of sunshine, magic in human form and such a great example of Christ's love. She cares for people so deeply and also works harder than anyone else I know. Izzy is a rockstar. I truly am in awe of her every time I am with her !!! I met her through Instagram over the summer and instantly knew she was incredible. She is a freshman here at LSU and getting to do life with her this semester has been a dream. Izzy is so wise and has such a hunger for the Lord. She is unbelievably brilliant when she speaks and she can sing like nobody's business. Seeing her passion for the Lord and ministry and for others to know him is so inspiring !!! The Bible talks from Genesis to Revelation about his name being exalted among the nation, that is a quote from Katherine this episode and such a wisdom filled nugget. In today's episode I have my dear friend and one of my role models -- Katherine. Katherine is someone whose heart is LITERALLY on fire for the nations, and has such cool experiences and ways the Lord has shown his heart for the world in her life. 1 Corinthians 6:10-20 !!!!: Our body is a temple and what we do with it matters. This episode is a topic close to my heart, and one of my favorite episodes I have gotten to record! Allie is one of the greatest women I know. Allie and I became friends my freshman year and she has constantly been a role model for me since then. She is so on fire and so in pursuit of the Lord in her life. This episode we talk about all things body image, fitness, food & how to glorify the Lord through it all. It's a tricky subject but Allie has so much truth and wisdom to share, and so much knowledge. She herself has dealt with body image issues, and now is actual a workout instructor at Pure Barre. It's cool to hear Allie's story, how far she has come and gain some tips on how to navigate something as tough as this. Allie is very open about her past struggles, and my prayer is that everyone listening knows they are not alone. Not only that, but that they gain such tangible tools to be able to combat these issues, while still maintaining the heart posture of giving glory to God. This is an episode of celebration, of celebrating the body the Lord has given you and this wonderful life you get to live. I am so thankful to have someone like Allie to get to record this with. Allie lives in her life not for the approval of man, but fully for the approval of God. What a JOY and a absolute honor it was to get to sit down with two women who I admire so much: Maia & Isla. These are two of the coolest yet wisest women you will ever meet and I had the privilege of getting to know both of them better this past summer. After learning more about each of their stories, I knew they had to be on the podcast one day! Maia is the creator and founder of MM Designs a clothing company that’s aim is to spread love, truth and light. She also has brought a community together of Christian women through her ambassador program which I had had the blessing of getting to join. She is a straight up girl boss, an FSU alum and a soon to be married women! Isla Texas A&M grad who followed the Lord’s call in obedience and boldness to Florida, to help further the MM designs ministry and company. She was such a genuine and authentic friend to me this summer! And she is about to start a brand new chapter of her life in Dallas. They both held Life Retreat, in July of this year, a weekend for college girls to experience healing, rest and community. And boy oh boy did that weekend teach me a lot, and I can’t wait to share that with you. Both of these women are sweet friends and they make everyone around them feel so loved just as our Savior loves us. In this episode we talk about the Lord's faithfulness, how ministry looks different for different people & how to daily surrender to the Lord. It was so much fun to get to have two of the sweetest sophomore girls I know drop so major wisdom on this podcast episode.
