Obie Diaz is a radio host of the K92.3 here in central Florida, Orlando's #1 show for new country. He is also an essential board member of the Orlando Police Foundation, where he hosts the foundation's podcast: The City's Finest. Leading up to his career as a radio show host, he was an intern at a radio station in his junior year of high school, and worked his way up to the morning show status. In this episode, Mr. Diaz shares a great amount of information regarding how the community can change their perspective of policing, that can hopefully improve their relationship with law enforcement.
Myron Gaudet is a veteran police officer, with 28 years of service in many dimensions of law enforcement. He has served in the patrol division, detective bureau, street crimes unit, training academy instructor, a field training officer, & patrol Sergeant. Myron also served in the United States Civpol Program, which sends American police officers abroad to represent the United States in war torn areas, in an effort to help rebuild infrastructure and first responder capabilities. Civpol personnel are trainers, mentors, advisors, as well as law enforcement officers. Myron is still actively serving as a patrol Sergeant in metro New Orleans area law enforcement. He holds numerous law enforcement instructor certifications, including that of peer support officer.In the martial arts, Myron has 40 years of training and teaching experience. He has trained in numerous martial arts, including Kickboxing, Boxing, Jiu Jitsu, and San Shou.As a part of his martial arts education, Myron learned to develop a meditation practice early in his life- which he states has helped immensely in maintaining mental and physical wellness through his police career. In addition to training and teaching, Myron is one of Louisiana's most senior state licensed MMA referees. he has refereed at all levels of the sport up to and including major events such as the UFC, Bellator, Legacy Fighting Alliance, & Fury.He currently lives & teaches in the metro New Orleans area.

In this episode, we discuss how law enforcement is viewed in the education system, and in communities such as the Native American community. Burnes describes how the distrust gap between the community and the police can be bridged.
Interview with Charles Humphrey, a law enforcement veteran who has served 33 years. Mr. Humphrey has been a corrections officer, a Secret Service agent, and for the most of his law enforcement career, an ATF (the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) agent. Currently, Mr. Humphrey is a use of force educator at the National Law Enforcement Museum in Washington, DC.
In this episode, Mr. Humphrey and I discuss the importance of how law enforcement needs to be properly trained in situations where the use of force is necessary. We discuss how the public can have a strengthened trust in law enforcement in the future.
