The fourth Saturday of each month is our contemplative service celebrating the sacred feminine.
Saturday Contemplative Evening Prayer from St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church in Boulder
Our service on the fourth Saturday of each month is devoted to reclaiming the sacred feminine - this month we celebrate creation with Hildegard of Bingen, 12th C mystic.
Bishop Kym made her first visit to St. Mary Magdalene on June 27, 2021, which was also our first in-person worship service since the pandemic began! Hear Bishop Kym's inspiring homily about the healing relationships we are called to create today: "If we lived what we pray, we would change this world."
On the 2nd Saturday of the month, our contemplative service includes lectio divina, or sacred reading.
During the Great Vigil of Easter, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
