I don't care if it's a project. I don't care if you run a business. I don't care if you run a program...you NEED a site. More specifically, you need a CENTRAL LOCATION for all your resources. And it just so happens that SharePoint is a tool that can support that effort.

As a government contractor, I recognize how valuable I am as a SharePoint subject matter expert. I also recognize how just merely understanding the basic capabilities of SharePoint can make YOU very valuable as well.
This episode is just a taste of my thoughts on this. I'll dive deeper in the future, depending on the response I get from this episode.
Or maybe I'll just do the deep diving regardless of the response I get, because my belief in this is STRONG. If you add SharePoint to the list of services that you can offer the government, you will increase your value...I guarantee it.

They're asked to carry out processes like it's the 90s.

We go inside a process of a multimillion-dollar sneaker company.
They're bringing a new product to market. They'll do it using the 365 suite.
A lot of people buy expensive cell phones and only use it to call, chat, take pics and surf social media.
Organizations do the same with the 365 suite. They pay for the whole thing, but only use Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Are you an Executive Admin?
As in, do you administratively support a boss and/or a team of folks?
In that case, you should have a central location (aka website) where all members of the team (boss included) can access files and information.
Now of course, I personally recommend SharePoint to do this :-)
You should create a SharePoint site to house any and all information that folks on the team will need.
I actually have three tips for what things you can put on this site.
1 - SharePoint Lists (instead of spreadsheets)
2 - Event information (from a group calendar)
3- Link(s) to important MS Teams
