Typhoons are a RARE occurrence in the Pacific Northwest, but never say never. This tropical storm ran its course along the west coast, destroying buildings, homes, electricity, and forests in its wake.It should be noted that this episode was recorded just before Christmas, so there may be some references to the winter season. In 1902, 21-year-old Minnie Ensminger was a school teacher in Baker County, who had a recent falling out when she was shot and killed in the early hours of Christmas morning after leaving a Christmas Eve party. This episode recounts exactly what happened leading up to her murder, and the subsequent hanging.

Nathaniel and Charity Lamb had their ups and downs, but it's unlikely they expected their marriage to end in these kinds of shambles.
