It was the place where people would go to hear from God, to receive His instruction, and to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle of life. Have you ever praised and thanked God from a dark place, or while you were in a bad situation? When we do that, when we choose to praise and thank God no matter what is going on, that means we are praising God straight no chaser. Our praise is not watered down by tears nor weakened by circumstances.
