Are you thinking about starting your own business, but not sure if you're ready? Most people make the mistake of jumping in too soon, without doing their research or knowing what they're getting into. Here are some things to consider before taking the plunge:
-Do you have a good business idea?
-Can you articulate your business plan?
-Do you have the financial resources in place?
-Do you have the right team in place to support you?
-Are you mentally and emotionally prepared for the challenges of entrepreneurship?
If you can answer yes to all of these questions, then you're likely ready to start your own business. Remember, starting a business is not a decision to be taken lightly. But if you're prepared and have a solid plan in place, it can be one of the most rewarding things you'll ever do.

Hello and welcome to be the man of podcasts with myself Lee Taylor and today I want to talk about relaxing and why it's important to relax now. I know a lot of you listening will have trouble relaxing, you won't switch off.
You'll be living in an environment where it's all go go go. And many of you will love that many of you will thrive on that. I know I have in the past there's nothing wrong with that. But when you're Go, go go. You often hit a wall and it becomes Stopstopstop and you can't do any more. You're beat. You're dead on your feet. You've just hit that block and you need time to recover. When you take that time to recover, and you have that relaxation. You feel better and you feel ready to go again. And you do and then you go go go and it's all systems full steam ahead into you hit the wall again and you stop.
Now, over the years, that's how I've lived my life. I've always done it that way. I've just taken so much on into I can't do any more. But that's not a healthy way to live. It's not gonna keep you from an anxiety free life. In actual fact, it can lead to more anxiety and actual depression. When you live your life like that because when you hit that wall and you're so low, and you're so burnt out that you can't do anymore, you're weak. You're not strong anymore. A better way to do things. You take timeout and rest. Just plan it throughout your day. Just have a little bit of rest, don't do any more to stop. And it doesn't have to be for a long period, maybe just five minutes of rest. But by doing this in a daily habit, will keep anxiety loan will stave off depression help you live a longer and happier life.
And you'll feel better about it. I'll take myself away from the PC. Close my eyes. I'll just sit there in silence. I'll try not to think about anything. And I'll just sometimes drift off five or 10 minutes, and then I'll wake up and I'll feel so much better about things and I'm ready to go again. I'm energised, I'm happy and I'm in a better place. And when you do that. You just feel you can go longer. You can do more. You don't hit the brick wall so much. You don't have that period where you just can't physically do any more because you're beat and you feel you just feel more energised constantly. So what I want you to do today is think about how you can put a bit of relaxation into your day.
Just take yourself away from the PC. Take yourself out of what you're doing. Get yourself into an area where you're on your own, and it's quiet and you can just rest and be yourself and just think of nothing and do nothing relax your body completely. Relax your body, let it go limp and just rest. And do that for consecutive seven consecutive days and see how you feel. And I'm sure like me, you will feel so good about yourself. Because it'll just it'll just give you that little bit of focus. It'll give your eyes a bit of a rest. Give your brain wrestle give your body a rest. Neil energise yourself to go more. So turn the podcast off now. Just think about that. Think about how you can put a bit of rest into your life.
And how that can benefit you. Moving forward. Unlike a You're always saying this day is going to end whether you like it or not and whether you make the change is completely up to you. But what have you got to lose? Try it and see how it goes. I'm sure it will be of benefit to you. It's easy to do. Doesn't take much planning doesn't take any effort whatsoever. It's a great way to start feeling good about yourself. Hope that was useful. And I will see you again tomorrow. Bye for now.
Why We Need to Be Kind to Each Other.
I would consider myself pretty kind. I like people and I go out of my way to help others. However I do hold grudges that I know is not helpful to me.
There are people in my life that I don't engage with as I believe them to be bad for me or they may have wronged me at some stage.
My thoughts on kindness and letting people go are -
Every single one of us will loose everything we love at some stage, so why not be Kind to everyone.
HOWEVER
Sometimes being kind means letting people go.
Knowing the above, I can be kind to everyone, even those who wrong me.
I would recommend remembering, that we will all loose everything at some stage so why not be as kind as you can in the meantime.
And for the ones who take advantage and are not a good fit, be kind to them too. Let them follow another path that doesn't include you and let them go.
In doing so you will free up time and energy to focus on others who will positively help you along your journey.

Is Technology a distraction or a benefit to life?I Love gadgets, I like the look, the feel, the apps that work with them. I spend lots of money and time on gadgets and I know I'm not alone.
However I am trying to spend less time using them to the benefit of my mental health and relationships.
Gadgets and Apps are designed to keep our focus on them. The more we are using and buying, the more profits for the manufacturers and developers.
The more I use them the more I spend but am I happy with my purchases?
The answer is probably NO, I am not as the gadgets take away more than they give.
I have children, I know when I'm head down into Facebook I am missing what they are doing.
I may feel present but ultimately I am not. When I go out with my partner and ignore her whilst checking emails, am I being a good date? No obviously I'm not.
I want to be the best version of myself and I want to to be that as well. So ask yourself what are you missing out on when you are consumed in gadgets and apps?
How better can you use your time? My partner & I have a no phone rule in the evenings and at the dinner table. This is our time to talk and enjoy our company. If we are buried in our mobile phones, we hardly speak. When we go out we see couples hardly talking, we look in disbelief as they sit glued to phones ignoring each other.
We sit and talk, laugh and engage. We learn about each other and make plans. We discuss our wins and losses and help each other.
Technology is great and I'm a fan, but only when its used as a benefit, not a distraction. If it takes away the beauty of life and stops you being who you want, take time to step away.
Go for a walk and date without the phone. Leave gadgets in other rooms when you are with your family. Let technology serve you when you need it and switch it off when you don't.
Restricting gadget time has worked well for me and my relationships and I am sure it will do the same for you as well.
What have you got to lose by trying?

How to get Shit done when you don't feel like it.We all go through periods when we don't want to do something. I have a list that is full of stuff I don't want to to.
I used to call that list my 'Shit List' as it was full of the stuff that I hated and the thought of doing made me feel like Shit.
The list basically sat there and hardly ever got tackled. Things built up and only got done when they started to get problematic.
The build up of negativity got me down and tired me out. Worry would set in and I'd feel bad that I was behind with my work and chores.
Welcome the 'Awesome List'
This all changed by creating one little tweak that was so easy. My partner & I changed the title from 'Shit List' to 'Awesome List'
We told ourselves that when we completed our Awesome List we in turn would feel awesome!!!!
And it worked. That little shift of mindset created something new. We visualised us feeling great when we ticked off things on our Awesome List.
We set little rewards for being awesome and treated ourselves.
What this Did for Us.
It took away worry, stress, anxiety and replaced those feelings with confidence, enthusiasm and energy.
As the list became smaller we had more time to work on other things we really enjoyed, we had more time to spend with each other and relax.
Life got just a little better by changing just one word and flipping our mindset from Shit to Awesome.
Today is another day, It's going to end if you like it or not. Why not make it the day you make a little change and see what happens?

How Friendship can impact healthWe all know eating well and exercising are great ways to boost our health. What often gets overlooked is outside influences such as friendships that can impact us both positively or negatively.
Research shows strong interpersonal bonds lead to lower stress levels. Having an active social life also boosts cognitive levels. The more social support you have the often, longer you live.
However all the above only applies if the network around you is a positive one. The more positive friendships we have the better.
It is important to evaluate friendships to see if they serve you well. Just like your body, your relationships need to be maintained. Or sometimes changed if the person your connected to doesn't make you feel good about yourself.
When your around people check on - are you being seen and heard, how do they make you feel? Are you drained after being with them or energised?
After an interaction your mood can be a good indicator if this person is right for you.
Not all friendships are healthy, so either improving or ending an unhealthy friendship can certainly impact you in a positive way.
You may feel guilty about ending a friendship but don't worry. You can't control how someone else acts, you can only respond to it.
I believe whatever you do you should always look to attract positive friendships and end bad ones. I know I will be a reflection of the people I associate with so I want to reflect in a good way. I want people around me who lift me up, not put me down.
Because I know when I have that I will feel and be a healthier person.

Henry Ford said, "Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your Goal."
Take a moment to think about that quote. It's a brilliant piece of advice and so true.
Whenever I let myself wander from my goal thoughts creep in, self doubt arises and I question myself.
For instance -
I set a goal everyday to speak to a number of new potential clients. This involves me calling people I have never met or spoken with before. It's scary but necessary.
My business is about transforming people's lives. If I don't speak to them I can't let them know how I can help. I need to make those calls.
Now here's what has happened in the past-
I would call people and maybe the first few wouldn't pick up, the next few say they are not interested. I've 10 more people to speak with and my mind wanders.
I tell myself it's not a good day, I would be better calling them tomorrow, I imagine everyone saying NO and me being disappointed.
So to avoid disappointment I put the calls off and do something less scary.
Many of my clients used to do the same so I know it's not uncommon.
So What do I teach them to do instead?
I teach them to start the day with a little visualisation. I get them to sit, relaxed with eyes shut and vision all the things they want to achieve that day.
Then I ask them to pick the top goal of the day, with eyes still shut imagine all the details of that goal. I get them to picture the activity of completing the goal and the end result. Feel how they would feel when they finish and are rewarded.
Once they have the vision and feeling of success they open their eyes and write the goal down on paper.
They then write under the goal these words.......
I will commit to completing this goal today. Then they sign the paper and keep it in sight.
Once they have made that commitment then they make this goal the priority over everything else they want to achieve.
They understand that the day is going to end, like it or not and they have the power to make that day count.
And if they only hit 1 goal per day, they always hit the one that was the most important.

Why Failing is GOOD!!Here is my take on failing - I welcome it. I appreciate it and I am grateful when I fail.
Many people never do anything in life because they are scared to fail. They watch others on social media succeeding and believe they can't do the same.
They want to try but compare themselves to others, sit back and watch. Then they carry on watching people win from their armchair scared to take part.
I think this is why 'Reality TV' became so popular. People could watch normal people doing what they perceived not possible for themselves. We could enjoy the success of others and take comfort when others failed.
It is entertaining and makes us feel good either way. We also don't get hurt by trying and failing.
But here is the thing, when you see people on TV or online winning, you just see that snippet. You don't see the immense amount of failures they had before they became a success.
You have no idea how hard they worked and the sacrifices they made. Even reality TV stars put themselves 'Out there' and audition. They did something that could have backfired and hurt them but they did it anyway.
Was they scared of failing, of course they were. The difference is they know it's not the end. They can try again. They can take what they learned and do a better job next time.
I've failed so many times in my life and I'm grateful for it. The reason is I know why I failed and I changed what went wrong to try again.
Even with my training and exercise, I failed. I got Fat and unfit. It wasn't working anymore and I was becoming unhappy.
It took this failure for me to recognise what I was doing wrong. I sought help and paid for it. I learned from the experts on what to do and I changed my life.
I remember the first session with my PT. I was overweight and unfit. He made a plan and I paid him. At the end of every session I was in bits. I struggled to walk, my blood pressure was high and I would feel dizzy. However slowly I got better, he helped me succeed.
I went from Fat to Fit in about 12 weeks. I felt great and had way more energy.
So What did I learn?
I learned it's OK to fail as it's not the end. In fact it's good to fail because you learn what you need to not let it happen again.
I also learned, to speed up success ask for help. You don't need to go it alone. When you buy in help you buy someones expertise. They will have been where you are right now and know the pitfalls.
When I train my clients I know what they are going through and I understand their struggle.
I can use my expertise to make sure they have the tools not to fail again.
A Rock climber will use a rope, so if he falls it's not the end. I use other peoples knowledge in the same way.
When I fail I look for people who can offer me a piece of their rope to lift me up.
I can do the same for you. If you want to get fit, healthy, in a better place emotionally and live the life you deserve, why not ask me about my 'Perfect 10/10' Programme.
Here I help people achieve a healthy body, a great life and great relationships with others.
The programme is 12 weeks and comes with a satisfaction guarantee.

Be The Man CommunityVery often I get really down on myself. I get a feeling somethings wrong and I can't quite figure out what.
I become moody and don't want to be around people.
My girlfriend can try to cheer me up but actually make things worse as I need space to figure out what is wrong.
Sound Familiar?
If so read on.......
Life can be a bit Shitty sometimes, Everywhere you look there is bad news and worried faces. Negativity has a funny way of attracting more negativity and if you don't recognise when it creeps in you can end up quite depressed.
So what can you do to stop it?
As said I take alone time to work things out and here is what I do to give myself a lift.
I ask myself to think about all the amazing things I have in my life.
I think about my family, friends, seaside walks, my clients, anything in fact that I value as a positive.
I take a minute to really focus on what is important to me and think deeply about it.
When I complete this exercise I remind myself how Grateful I am to have all of this in my life.
Gratitude plays a big part of keeping me humble and feeling good about myself.
What is the Problem and how bad could it have been?
I think about what could be upsetting me. I try to connect with what it is that is making me feel low and embrace it. When I have my answer I visualise the problem and what the worst case scenario could in fact be.
When I embrace what is bothering me and see that the worse case scenario could in fact be so much more, the problem doesn't seem that bad after all and not nearly as scary as I may have been thinking.
Advice
Now I look at my problem as my friends problem. How would I advise them? What would I say that would help them? How could I make them feel better?
I write the advice down and apply it to myself.
Becoming Proud
I've now filled my head with gratitude, Tamed my problem and come up with solutions. It's time to feel Proud.
I think about the good I have done, not just for me but for others. I remind myself how I'm changing lives for the better. I remember when I was kind to someone else and the things I am achieving.
I take time to sit and be proud of what i am doing in this world to make a difference.
Time to visualise
I'm now feeling proud and better about myself, time to banish my fears and worry. What I do is ask myself.....Will this still be a worry in 5 years from now.? Will I still be worrying about it in 5 years?
The answer is almost NO every time. So I visualise my feelings and worry getting smaller and fading away. I keep going until the worry has completely disappeared.
The Blame Game
I now take responsibility for what happened and own it. I never assign blame to others as that makes it out of my control. I gently remind myself that I am in charge and I need to learn as not let let it happen again.
I spend time thinking about what I can do better next time.
Did Deeper
Once I own the feeling and know the root cause, I remind myself how strong I am, I practice gratitude again for being so strong. I now know by problem is small compared to my strength and I park the problem in a place on its own away all the good that is going on in my life.
Move on
Now I am ready to move on, I feel good, I am happy and in a better place. I no longer need to be on my own and I'm ready to re-engage with people and have fun.

The Fork in The RoadEveryday you wake you will be immediately confronted with choices. Do you get out of bed or hit snooze? What do you do when up?
The answers to these choices will determine how your day goes. Will it be a success or a series of distractions that see you fail in what you want to do?
To get things done and be a success you will have to choose what path you take on each day. Imagine sitting at the end of a road that Forks left and right.
On the left is a day unplanned and full of distractions, on the right is a day planned and full of focus.
Both Roads are busy and full of challenges, what one do you take?
Most will take the left road, they will hit the day with good intentions and see what happens. Sometimes getting everything done and sometimes not.
The road on the right takes more effort so is often overlooked. Both paths have the same goals, the one on the right just needs a little more commitment to silence distractions.
The planned road on the right has time where you start and stop but do not procrastinate. Here you will get more done and be more productive as you have more focus.
Taking road on the right will teach you to recognise distractions and get more done. For instance when you are about to click onto Facebook or Google, instead of completing a task you will know how to stop yourself.
So how do you stop yourself?
When you feel yourself drifting and looking for a way out of what you are trying to finish do this one thing -
Take a big deep breath and release slowly. As you release your breath welcome the fact you paused and remind yourself of the path you are on.
This little pause gives you time to think and refocus. You can remind yourself of the end goal and the reward that will await when you complete your tasks.
You buy yourself a little more time to put the effort into what you were doing without giving up.
The choice is always yours, a new day is coming and it will go. The Fork in the road will always be there. It's up to you if you make the day count or not.
All you have to do is breathe in, focus and decide what is best for you.
The more right turns you make and the more you keep on that path, the more you will do, succeed and be happy with.
