“Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.” ~ Ephesians 4:29
A podcast in which I interview people from all over the world, to better discover cultures and the people behind it. Made to encourage more meaningful conversations.
In this episode I sit down with my newly found friend Django. I met him in a park, looking for guidance regarding my musical future, and he came to me like a messiah to a lost soul. We talk about the concept of creativity and discuss our points of view, he gives advice to lost musical souls (like myself) looking for their own style. We finish the conversation talking about starting his “active life” in Berlin and the difference between arguing and discussing.
In this episode I sit down with my friend Patje to talk about the role of social media in people’s views on life, the Facebook comments on news channels, what we do to open up to other perspectives and last but not least, we discuss our experiences as leaders at the scouts.
PS. The quote I forgot is from Tom Bilyeu: “A fool never learns, a smart man learns from his mistakes and a wise man learns from the mistakes of others”
In this episode I sit down with my Belgian friend Kato to have a conversation more focused on personality and personal experiences about the more difficult aspects of life, such as being there for your friends and family but at the same time having to trust other people to be there for you just as much. We also discuss the definition of being an extrovert person and her (interesting to say the least) internship experience in a “local” hospital in Perú.
The concept of a “digital nomad” brings with it a lot of assumptions. Today I cover some of those assumptions with my Indian friend Rucci. We discuss the perks about being a digital nomad, some disadvantages they might have to live with but also how she has perceived this lifestyle.
This second episode is with my Peruvian friend Claudia. She talks about the differences between a German boyfriend and a Peruvian, we discuss corruption and the “machismo” culture in Peru and to finish off we share some weed-related stories.
In this very first episode I sit down with my German friend Leon to have my first more “deeper” conversation. We talk about how he survived illegally in Colombia, but also about his suicidal thoughts during his lockdown period.
