One of the most amazing and sometimes painful ways for us to gain a genuine picture of ourselves is to look into the life of Christ. Most of us like to think we are basically good people, that we do good things, with the right motives. We are willing to put others before ourselves. We often think we are willing to give selfless service. As we meditate on the life of Jesus, especially His final days and hours, we are able to see The perfect example of someone (our God) who was governed by a loving selfless service. As we see what He’s done for us, I believe He then calls us to give this selfless service to others. I look forward to examining Jesus selfless service with you this coming Sabbath.

We live in a world where sin no longer exists. A world where each person can do what is right in his own eyes. A world where truth is relative. We live in a world where it can be popular to be different, as long as you don’t try and convince anyone else they need to be like you. Live and let live.
