Red Bull have SMASHED McLaren's 35 year old record for the most consecutive wins by a constructor and it doesn't look like they'll be beaten anytime soon! Max Verstappen stormed in front of pole sitter Hamilton off the line and never looked back, winning by the biggest margin since Lewis Hamilton's 2021 Russian Grand Prix victory. The British Grand Prix was a record breaking weekend for Red Bull as Max Verstappen won the race at Silverstone despite an early scare. MERCEDES HAVE FINALLY DONE IT! George Russell picked up his maiden Formula 1 victory in impressive style at the 2022 Sao Paulo Grand Prix at Interlagos in Brazil. Mercedes were dominant and made it a one-two with Lewis Hamilton narrowly missing out. But it was a great weekend for the Silver Arrows who have had a tough year. Max Verstappen was in the headlines for all the wrong reasons as he refused to let Sergio Perez past but that was just a small part of a race-of-the-season contender. Max Verstappen can add the record for the most wins in a Formula 1 season to his CV and his accomplishments this season after winning the Mexico City Grand Prix. He got the better of Lewis Hamilton for the second week in a row to claim top spot and with break the record for the most wins in a season. Max Verstappen's domination of the 2022 season continued as he won the US Grand Prix, but not before a little scare from his old friend Lewis Hamilton. With the laps counting down the Brit was closing in on a famous win but the Dutchman stormed through in the end and denied the Mercedes driver and team a first win of the season. The Bahrain Grand Prix was a thriller and it was Ferrari who took the spoils. Charles Leclerc was dominant all weekend, and ended up securing maximum points. It was a nightmare for Red Bull as they suffered a late double DNF which allowed Carlos Sainz and Lewis Hamilton to make the podium.
