Reiki, energy and spirituality in everyday life: this is my recipe for living this life fully, connected to the natural rhythms of life and for creating what I desire.

Becoming aware of our energy and learning how to balance and direct our energy towards what we want in life is not only necessary: it's the key and gateway to know who we really are and to own our power to live a joyful and fulfilling life.
This is what spirituality is about and Reiki is the spiritual path that my guest in today's episode, Tina Eloise, and I have chosen.

This is what we cover in today’s episode:

  • Everything happens fist at the energy level
  • Energy healing and mental health in challenging times
  • Success starts within you and how taking care of your energy helps you to achieve the success you desire
  • Spirituality: a journey of self realisation and healing

  • What “healing” really means: becoming whole and complete

Slowing down? I cannot, I have so many things to do every day and I only have 24 hours. This is most of my clients' first reaction when I suggest them to slow down.

Gandhi once said, "There is more to life than increasing its speed." However, today life seems to be all about speed. Whether we are making a meal, going to the gym, driving your kids to school or even visiting your doctor, life moves so quickly, that you risk to sacrifice enjoyment for efficiency.

Luckily science shows us that sometimes it's better to slow down with remarkable benefits on you health, wellbeing, but also on your productivity, efficiency, clarity of mind.

Here's what we cover in today's episode:
- what forced me to take seriously stock of my lifestyle and slow down
- what scientific research has found about the benefits of taking downtime moments

The human brain is one of the most complex structures in the universe. I have read there are as many neurons in the brain as there are stars in the Milky Way. Imagine the complexity.

And for ages this 3 pound human muscle has been a mystery.

Thanks to science, particularly neuroscience - the multidisciplinary science that is concerned with the study of the structure and function of the nervous system - the mysteries surrounding the human brain have been largely unveiled , showing that "(...) we are hardwired to be a certain way for the rest of our lives, and we are not doomed by our genes - rather, we are marvels of adaptability and change" (Joe Dispenza, Foreward to "Mind to Matter" by Dawson Church).

Becoming aware of how we think and of our communication style through understanding tour neurological preferences strongly influence the way we are, our behaviour, our relationships, our life.

To talk about this topic, I have invited an expert in neuroscience: the joint Managing Director of MyBrain International, Gill McKay.

This is what we'll cover in this episode:

  • How neuroscience helps to take people inside their brains, which is both beautiful and liberating
  • How neuroscience enables people build self-awareness and understand why they are who they are
  • The physiology of the human brain and how it relates to human behaviour
  • The scientific evidennce showing that intuition and hunches are not "woo woo" stuff after all
  • The importance of being aware of your personality type in your personal life and in business
  • A brain-based model of personality types
  • Gill's book "STUCK: Brain Smart Insights for Coaches" on how she used neuroscience to help people unlock their challenges

Confidence in teens is important as it allows them to try new things, take healthy risks and solve problems.

Luckily there are amazing people like my guest in today's episode of the ProsperityOnAir podcast, Confidence Coach Stella Maher, who are creating special programs to help and empower these young girls so that they see the greatness in themselves and develop their potential.

“Meditation is not spacing-out or running away. In fact, it is being totally honest with ourselves.” – Kathleen McDonald

Meditation is a spiritual practice as Reiki is. When I mention the word "spirituality" to my clients, I often see a skeptical look on their faces. Most confuse spirituality for religion, whilst it has nothing to do with it.

So I looked up a definition of spirituality in the English dictionary and here it is: "The quality of being concerned with the human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical things."

To me spiritual practices - like meditation and Reiki - are tools that help us re-connect with our most important, truthful and authentic source of knowledge, inspiration, creativity, intuition: our inner, spiritual self or our soul.

Accessing this source to get the information you need to live better, less stressed, in harmony and to make the right choices and decisions in your life and business is very simple: it only takes as little as 5 minutes a day, to begin with.

The benefits of these practices are immense and you experience them in every area of your life when you make spirituality an integral part of your life and of your business or career too as shown by many scientific studies. For example, "The Harvard Business School along with INSEAD—Europe’s leading business school—have concluded from their research that the two most effective business tools for twenty-first century executives are meditation and intuition. The benefits of meditation in the workplace are cumulative; they build on one another, starting with the individual and from there, positively impacting the performance of the business as a whole." (The Chopra Center)

In today's episode of the ProsperityOnAir podcast my guest, Debo Kalley, speaks about how meditation and Angelic Reiki have changed her life and how they are helping her clients.

This is what we cover in today's episode:

  • How Reiki changed Debo's life

  • The difference between Usui Reiki and Angelic Reiki
  • How intuition lead Debo to meditation first and then to Reiki as a spiritual and healing practice

  • Self love: the most important form of love
  • How to deal with the thoughts that inevitably come up during meditation
  • How morning meditation makes a difference on how you start and experience your day
  • The benefits of coaching to improve one's life and wellbeing
  • Debo's experience in a Buddist monastery
  • The importance of stopping and doing nothing to find space for yourself and connect with your inner self to get the guidance you need

Increasing engagement and sales is key to ensure the success of your business.

There are different ways, tools and strategies to do that. However, being advised by an expert not only ensures that the strategies and tools that you will implement are the ideal ones for your particular business, but - and this I think is probably even more important - allows you to avoid all the trial and error not to mention the enormous amount of time required by testing all those tools and strategies.

Automating certain parts of your business is one of these successful strategies. However, you must know what to automate and when.

In today's episode of the ProsperityOnAir podcast, we will explore this topic and much more with The Queen of Automation, Emma Hammond.

This is what we'll cover in this episode:

  • Chat bots: how to harness their full potential in creating conversations and engaging with your potential clients
  • The impact of automation on engagement and sales
  • The importance of knowing where and how content is consumed
  • Using technology correctly to maximise its impact
  • Being willing to do things differently and outsource the parts of your business you don't enjoy doing
  • Emma's message to my audience

Finding your voice means being connected with who you really are, and this allows you to create your story, design and live your life on your own terms.

Many women are afraid to be what they are for fear of being stopped, criticized, labeled as selfish. Most of us have been raised in environments - home, school, church, work - where women are supposed to be, behave, speak, think, feel in a certain way.

The corporate environment is one of those contexts where this conditioning is most evident. To be successful women try to fit into a way of being and behaving that is typical of their male counterparts.

In today's episode of the ProsperityOnAir podcast, we will explore this topic and much more with business coach: Lara Noormahomed

This is what we'll cover in this episode:

  • Becoming who you really are vs trying to be someone you are not
  • How being connected with who you are allows you to create your own story
  • How women are afraid of being who they are for fear of being stopped, criticized, considered selfish
  • As a woman you are supposed to....
  • Manifesting your desires means that you always have choices
  • 3 things that affect women's success in the workplace
  • Needing vs wanting
  • How to lead by being true to your femininity
  • Age discrimination in the work place
  • The importance of working with a coach for your career
  • Lara's mission

We always have a choice: we can either follow our intuition (or inner guidance), or we can ignore it.

I know many people who have ignored it. I am one of them. There has been a long time in my life I have ignored what my inner guidance was saying to me. I transitioned from my freelance interpreting career to business in 2010. At that time what is now Project Prosperity was a side business. Actually, it started as a blog where I wanted to share what to me was prosperity.
When I started, it was only a way to explore the Internet world that was taking off around those years.
Since then things have taken twists and turns. Project Prosperity turned into business coaching programs mainly, I’ve launched other business projects and joint ventures, some successful, other failed.
As I look back on how far I’ve come as an entrepreneur, I wish I had started out by asking myself the 3 questions that I am going to share with you in today's episode of the ProsperityOnAir podcast and especially taking the time throughout the year to go through them again and again to check whether I was still going in the direction I set up for me or not, and if not why.

Part 3 of the 5 episode series devoted to creating and planning your prosperity in the new year.
Doday's episode is devoted to a key part of your planning: your vision.
Your vision sets the direction you need to follow in order to accomplish your goals in every Prosperity Area of your life.
A generic vision or dream will not allow your mind to focus on the direction that will take you to the concrete realisation of your vision.
When you describe your vision in a very specific language and with lots of details including feelings and emotions, your mind - and you thoughts - will align consciously and subconsciously with that vision and you will keep following the right direction.

Every day in my coaching practice I realize that people tend to be more and more disconnected with their inner selves. We tend to look for our happiness, satisfaction, reward, success outside of ourselves and when we are not working we are in front of a display, be it a TV screen, a computer or a smartphone. And I bet that a part from a quick glimpse at the sky in the morning to see whether or not you should take an umbrella with you, most people hardly take the time to feel the breeze on their face, or listen to the birds chirping, appreciate the beauty that surrounds them. And how many of us take the time to explore how you feel when you are about to make important decisions.... I bet not many.

Is intuition important in your professional life? How can we reconnect with our inner self? To answer these and other important questions I have a special guest in today's episode is Laurie Seymour.

  • This is what we’ll cover:
  • Your Compass Within, your guidance system
  • How to understand that it is your intuition speaking to you
  • The feeling body tells you whether something is inside or outside yourself
  • How to you your Compass Within in your daily life
  • The importance of introducing meditation into our lives
  • Stillness offers surprising experiences and insights
  • Manifesting your life
  • The Turaya Touch meditation

In life everyone has baggage and it may happen that this baggage affects our personal and professional life in a negative way. In fact, who we are and what we do is also the result of our past experiences. Sometimes this emotional baggage and our past can become oppressive. For example, if relationships always fail for the same reasons, if the way we are perceived is often wrong, then it's time for a self-reflection.

We can improve our life by taking responsibility of our choices and actions. The first step to understand what is not going well in life is to be honest with ourselves. It is very important to analyze for example our habits and how we communicate. If we start to accept responsibility, we can change our behavior for the better. In today's episode I am very honoured to talk with Linda H. Williams about this topic and how to achieve success, even after a difficult past.

This is what we’ll cover:

  • Everyone has a past
  • How our past affects our present
  • How to take responsibility for your life
  • The reasons, which lead to self-sabotage
  • Our limiting beliefs and our fears, that may keep us stuck
  • Positive thinking and positive action to break the vicious cycle
  • It's your responsibility to change your life and your behavior
  • Tips to start being more aware about what you are creating in life and in business

Sometimes age is an excuse for not making a change or not taking our life to a new level. But the truth is that it's never too late for new beginnings. At some point in life, women especially tend to feel they are too old for new projects. Being a mature woman instead offers great opportunities in personal life and in business. Mature women know better themselves, often have a deeper awareness of who they are and a deeper sense of freedom.

To Faith Barnard age was no obstacle to her personal development and to entrepreneurship. This episode of ProsperityOnAir is a special rebroadcast of the interview with this beautiful soul and wonderful woman, who is no longer with us. Faith has always been and continues to be an inspiration to me. This episode is a tribute to her memory and an encouragement to whoever feels stuck in his/her life because he/she thinks age may be an obstacle to the realization of their dreams or desires.

So many times I hear “excuses” for not going after that dream, take that holiday, open the business you’ve always wanted, create the lifestyle you desire…. And often the most common excuses are “I’m too old” and “I don’t have the time”.

One way we can assuage the “too old for my dream” fear and “no time” excuse is to let go of how the dream will be achieved and start taking baby steps towards that dream. There may be alternative routes to the dream that we didn’t see because we were focusing on one particular method. We need to be open to follow unexpected paths when they present themselves to us. It may be challenging, but is definitely worth it. Too often our lifestyle is determined by circumstances; if we stick to our projects we can eventually change them and create the lifestyle we desire.
In today’s episode you will meet Jutta Dudley who didn’t let either age or time interfere with her desire of creating a lifestyle that better suits her values, desires and dreams and started her new Virtual Assistant online business while still working at her full time job.

Phase 1 is the topic of this episode and is the phase where you start earning immediately, using your current skills offering consulting, coaching or services and lay the foundations for Phase 2, the more mature phase of your business with a business model that suits what you do and serves your ideal client.
