4 Benefits of The Secret Place:

2) A Place of Formation - Isaiah 64:8. Clay needs time in the potters hands to be properly formed.
3) A Place of Strength. 2 Corinthians 13:4. Develop roots. When you get full of the Holy Ghost nothing else can fill you!
4) A Place of Victory- Matthew 6:5,6. When you turn to God in the secret place He will reward you openly
Psalm 102:12 But you, O Lord, will sit on your throne forever. Your fame will endure to every generation.
13 You will arise and have mercy on Jerusalem — and now is the time to pity her, now is the time you promised to help.
We have the same spirit of faith as King David, who wrote Psalm 102. No matter what life looks like in the natural, we know that now is the time that God has promised help and favor. You may feel pressed, but you won't be crushed. You may be persecuted, but you will not be destroyed. We are overcomers and serve a God whose fame will endure to every generation. His throne and dominion last forever!

1 Corinthians 12:12
The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ.
God uses people just like you! It doesn't matter what you've done in the past. He is a forgiving God. What matters is that you move forward and accomplish the work God has created you for. He placed you in these last days to accomplish a glorious destiny! He has a plan and hope for you. A plan to prosper you and not to harm you. You will see His will accomplished in your life! Surrender to him now and get to work.
1) Be Delivered of Hindrances: Sin, Unbelief, Religion, Selfishness, and Control (John 3:30) It starts with YOU! For any relationship to succeed and go to the next level, start with yourself before expecting more out of others.
2) Have Faith (Matthew 19:24) Faith is a living force, from a living God, that produces living fruit! Also, See: Hebrews 11
3) Speak What You Believe (Mark 11:22-24) Faith requires you to speak! If it is too big for you to say, it is too big for you to hold.
4) Know It Is Done (1 Kings 18:41-46). Fight the good fight of faith! God is moved by faith, not by needs.
John 15:7-8
But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! 8When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.
You are called to bear fruit in the Kingdom of Heaven. True disciples are known by the fruit they bear for God. Make it your prayer this week that God would give you the boldness to share the gospel with the people around you. It can be as simple as telling someone at the grocery store that God loves them and has an awesome plan for their lives. You never know what God can do through you when you act in obedience to His glory.
Psalm 51:10
Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
God is looking for people after His own heart. Men and women who have the character of David. That doesn't mean you're perfect, but when you miss it, you admit it and turn from it. When you are willing to confess your sins, the Bible says he is faithful to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. After that, we must repent, turn away from who we were and what we were doing and follow God's Word! The law we follow is the Lord of our lives. Make Jesus the Lord of your life today.

Acts 26:2

There are three keys to you overcoming a trial in the wilderness. 1. Cry. Jesus wept. David and his mighty men wept when it was time to mourn. There is a season for that, but don’t stay there! You walk through the valley of the shadow of death. Don’t make a home there. 2. Don’t let that sorrow make you bitter. Magnify the Lord. Don’t magnify that negative circumstance. Keep his praise on your lips, and you’ll hold the victory in your hand. You will come out of that wilderness strong and courageous! 3. Just like Paul, think yourself happy! As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Keep your mind on the Word of God. Meditate on it day and night! You will come through every trial in the wilderness!
You are more than a conqueror. It doesn’t matter what you face. The God who is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords has a plan for you. It is a plan to prosper and not harm you, to give you hope and a future. God is preparing a table for you in the presence of your enemies. Your trials in the wilderness are going to lead to a powerful testimony. You are going from glory to glory this week!
Ephesians 6:11-12 Put on all of God's armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
Every Christian is issued God's full armor. You are equipped to overcome all the wiles of the enemy.
Jesus provided a way of salvation and defeated the devil once and for all on the cross. He didn't leave us empty-handed and defenseless afterward. You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. You are called, equipped, and win every battle of life when you put on and use the whole armor of God.
1 John 2:15-16Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world.
The Bible says that they will know you by your fruit. Are you working with God or against Him? If you are a friend of the world, you are an enemy of God. We thank God that if you are a part of The River Church, we know that you are a friend of God! You are being washed in the water of the word and transformed by the renewing of your mind. You can stand against all the wiles of the enemy! Oh, how sweet it is to live a life in the perfect will of God, sheltered from all the wiles of the devil. You know the truth, and that truth has set you free!
Choose life. God has given you the power to stand against the wiles of the Devil and walk in the Spirit.
God created you to live a victorious life. Choose life! Choose the blessing, and you will no longer have to live under the curse! You have been made the righteousness of God and have dominion and authority over every plan that comes against you.
Matthew 13:10-11
His disciples came and asked him, “Why do you use parables when you talk to the people?” He replied, “You are permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven, but others are not.
God has given us the honor of knowing the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven. When we press into the supernatural things of God’s Spirit, He reveals secrets.
1 Corithians 14:2
For if you have the ability to speak in tongues, you will be talking only to God, since people won’t be able to understand you. You will be speaking by the power of the Spirit, but it will all be mysterious.
Praying in tongues is a spiritual key to knowing the secrets of God. When we pray in tongues, we pray God’s perfect will over our present and future. Even the things that are mysteries and unseen to us are taken care of through the powerful tool of speaking in tongues. The gift of speaking in tongues is a beautiful gift God has given to every believer!
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8
God has already done the work of grace. Faith without works is dead. When you combine God's finished work with your work of faith, you will have everything that God has already done for you!
God's finished grace is going to meet your work of faith this week and bless you more than you could ask hope or imagine. We can't wait to hear the testimony of God's supernatural work in your life this week!
God has put authorities in our lives for protection and direction. Submitting to God and the leadership that He has put in place allows us to live good and peaceable lives full of blessing and prosperity. 1 Peter 2:13-17
We have been seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus. Believers are seated far above everything that has a name. You have a covenant legal right to prosper and be healthy even as your soul prospers. No weapon formed against you shall prosper.
God's promises are all yes and amen and are not reserved for later. You can exercise your faith and receive all that heaven has for you today. If you need healing, you have it; you have dominion over sickness and disease. If you need a financial miracle, you can have it now. God has already provided more than enough! You have been given dominion over all things!
Exercise your faith today, and make sure you share your testimony with us. We can't wait to hear it!
In the midnight hour of your life, are you complaining or praising? When you choose to give God glory at all times and in all circumstances, God will show up and show out in your situation!
Paul and Silas's praise changed how they felt inwardly, broke down the walls of persecution that had been put around them, and broke everyone else around them out of their chains too! There is power in your midnight praise!
27 But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here!” 28 Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.” 29 “Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. -Matthew 14:27-29
God is calling you to get out of the boat and walk on water. He wants you to live the life of faith, walking with Him on the waves of the supernatural.
Leave the negative drama in the boat, step out into the supernatural and fulfill your purpose and calling with Jesus today. Get out of the boat and walk on the water today!
Who are you keeping company with? The Bible says if you are friends with the world, you are an enemy of God (James 4:4). You must guard your heart and choose your friends wisely.
Those who live with clean hands and a pure heart stand in the holy place! Together, as the body of Christ, we stand together as the temple of the Lord! (Ephesians 2:20-22)
