Hughie was diagnosed aged 10 with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in 2020. Hughie, started fundraising for Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and best friend Freddie joined in when Hughie was too ill. They won our 'Fundraiser of the Year' award in 2021 after being surprised with it from Ant and Dec. They are now running 1km around 100 football grounds fundraising for every oncology ward in the UK.
