The hard work has already been done; you took your idea from an idea and actually did something about it. You are to be commended. Now, take that drive and propel your idea to new heights. There will be twists and turns along the way but remember why you are in it. In it to win it!
3. If money was the motivation, then motivation will bring success
Sometimes we forget about money as we toil and toil, free gratis. But remember, even though you now work for peanuts, there is light at the end of the tunnel. The day will come when your Startup will be your employer of choice.
4. The true value of your market has yet to be quantified
Forget all those “experts” who want to tell you the valuation of your Startup as it relates to your market opportunity. They are just that: “experts.” Or are they? You are the true expert, so get out there and go get that market. Your customers are waiting for your story to be told.
5. The trusted team you have now will see you through it all
Does your team feel the fire in you or are they in it for stock options? Carefully evaluate every member of your team and ask the hard questions. You see, these same people are going to be in it for the long run and will be critical to the success of your Startup.
