Maybe you don't have a fear of asking for help but you definitely feel a hesitation towards it.

Do you feel as though you can "do it best"?

Most female leaders have this thought! You know that you can create the content the best, the graphic the best, or generate the emails the best. Because you feel that way, you feel as though you are the best person to get it done, not someone else.

Do you think that asking for help is a sign of neediness or weakness?

Strong-willed women don't like the feeling of vulnerability that often can come along with asking for help. But what if I told you that asking for help is actually the stark contrast?! Asking for help is a sign of strength!

We're getting down to the truth of all of this and how you can overcome this fear/hesitation in this episode! Listen to this episode to hear more.

Do you struggle with change and how to handle change?

Do you ever ask yourself, "How do I remain authentic to myself and stay up to date with the current trends?"

Do you want to know how to better adjust to change quickly?

This episode is going to give you some reasons as to why you should consistently build your adaptive intelligence and steps to take to help you build your adaptive intelligence.

Importance of Investing in Good Character

According to Proverbs 22:1, honorable behavior, Godly wisdom, moral courage, and personal integrity can earn a good reputation and good character. According to Google, someone with good character means integrity, honesty, loyalty, and respect.

Often, we get caught up in chasing success and money, and we forget or overlook the importance of good character. There is a show I have been following. It is called The Thing About Pam. In this show, Pam, unfortunately, committed a murder, and she managed to fool everyone about it. The people around her thought she was indeed innocent because, at face value, her character looked good. But, deep down inside, it wasn't. And at the end of it all, her urge and pursuit of "more" ended her in prison!

Today, I want to encourage you to reflect on your internal motivations because those motivations can cause you to lose it all. The bad thing is, the more we begin to scroll on social media, and we see things that are displayed that look "shiny," those things get in your heart and become motivations for the things you want out of life. Slowly, your portion of life becomes less satisfying and less enough.

Key Talking Points of the Episode:

[04:28] The Thing about Pam show

[06:25] What is a good character

[08:57] How Pam’s character caught up with her

[09:10] How do we tarnish our good character?

This episode marks the end of season two. Season three is coming soon. If you have learned anything from this season, please leave me a review and share the podcast with a friend.

Winning Internally

Have you heard or seen the Will Smith and Chris Rock issue? It is all over the place. Today, I want to draw a lesson from the saga, always win internally.

Will Smith won the Oscar award because of all the work he had put into the movie King Richard and other movies. This win for Will was different. He won an award externally, but he lost internally. Now, that internal failure is completely overshadowing His external success. Everywhere you turn, you’re seeing this Will Smith slap Chris Rock, or you’re seeing another news station or some type of social media gossip page or whatever, displaying what happened.

As we speak, nobody has celebrated Will’s win for the Oscar. We are only seeing people condemning how Will reacted to Chris Rock. Unfortunately, some people say his movies will be stopped and stuff like that. All these sounds unfair. A moment of losing internally can tarnish what we’ve worked for so hard.

Sometimes we find ourselves in a situation where we are so hard-pressed that it is easy to give in to the pressure of the moment. It is essential always to allow ourselves to win internally by doing the inner work first.

Listen to this episode to hear more.

Key Talking Points of the Episode:

[02:36] Lessons from Will Smith’s incident

[06:00] The importance of doing the inner work

[06:56] Commanding your emotions boost your emotional intelligence

Lately, everyone is talking about manifestation, from pastors to celebrities to us. We are in an era where people have discovered the power of manifestation, and are eager to "manifest" the things they desire for their lives into their lives.

Unfortunately, we are at a point where we are manifesting things that have taken our purpose from the hands of God and brought it to our hands. Our purpose and destiny are in the hands of God. It is wrong to dictate them on our terms.

Purpose, destiny, and our ability to accomplish anything we set our mind to or desire to do is only obtainable through Him, Jesus, and the power within us to obtain these things is far greater than our ability.

Have you ever waited for something for a long time, and you felt like God was taking too long, and you decided to take the matter into your hands? How did it go?

In this episode, I will be shedding light on the great debate, is manifestation real? Listen in and learn.

Key Talking Points of the Episode:

[01:00] Laying the foundation

[02:40] What is manifestation?

Scriptures Mentioned in the Episode:

  • Ephesians 3:20- 21
  • Proverbs 3:5-7
  • Proverbs 28:27

Our society glorifies grinding without knowing that, in the long run, it does more harm than good. Grinding doesn’t lead to better productivity. It doesn’t lead to more opportunities and gets this. This is a bittersweet episode for me. It is episode seven, and it marks the end of season one. It has been a fantastic season, and I appreciate you for taking the time to listen to my podcast.

I want to share five tips for putting your wellness first as a high-achieving woman in this episode. As high-achieving women, we are used to giving all the time, but we never take time to water ourselves and ensure our wellness is a good place. Some of the tips might sound like I’m hitting you below the belt, but I want to challenge you to grow.

Most high achieving women have one thing in common; they lack transparency and vulnerability. As a high-achieving woman, it is essential to be transparent and vulnerable in areas you need to work on. Be okay with opening up and being honest and authentic about personal areas you may be struggling in and strengthening your social connections. Humility is a practice that we all need to embrace.

How many times do you find yourself so busy that you forget to have a break? You need to take a lunch break and have a “getting off work” routine. Your getting off work routine can be spending a few minutes with yourself to slow down before you get home. Also, consider taking vacations and staycations.

High achieving women are known for being great at setting goals and planning. They set many goals, but they do not factor their wellness into their goals. Your wellness goals should come first.

Listen in to this episode and learn more about the wellness tips.

Key Talking Points of the Episode:

[07:04] Practice humility

[09:18] Strengthen your social connections

[10:42] Take breaks

[13:37] Set wellness goals

[15:20] Reduce your stressors

Perspective and Potential in Career Elevation with Raven Nole

Thank you for tuning back into the third episode of the Raven Nole Show. I am overwhelmed and extremely grateful by the feedback from all of you expressing gratitude, as we journey and explore my personal life. In today’s episode, I want to take you through my life’s work, and how I leveled up in my career.

A lot of people yearn and thirst for success and want it soon and easy as it looks on social media. What is portrayed on social media creates a desire within us to want easy success, but it takes endurance, determination, daily tough decisions, and resilience to level up in our lives and careers. I help high-achieving women shift their mindsets, achieve their true potential and help them unlock their prowess in being more effective leaders in their roles (Learn More Here). You should allow that perspective to sit in your mindset and focus on your climb journey for you to elevate. You will eventually get there.

Conquering Self-Sabotage with Raven Nole

Hello everyone and welcome to the second episode of The Raven Nole Show. In today’s episode, we pick up from the crossroad moment I had in my life, and how the moment became a wake-up call in conquering self-sabotage. In this episode, I will take you through the various steps I took in making a life-changing decision to salvage myself from the road of self-destruction.

We all have flaws which are a journey working through and I had to make a decision to become uncomfortable, and a willing participant for change to happen. What works against growth is the comfort zone we set ourselves upon which fuels the cycle of toxic thinking and behavior, thus leading to self-destruction. You have to become uncomfortable and vulnerable by diving into something unfamiliar and unknown so that the things inside you can be triggered. The fear of the unknown manifests differently such that it creates a band whether to carry on with the growth or move back to our comfort zone.

The path of being uncomfortable might make you might feel like an imposter, become fearful of taking a risk, and even create the fear of being a failure, but you have to take make a decision to invest in your personal growth and steer clear of that toxic path.

The fear of the unknown should not deter you from following the path that makes you vulnerable. Making the decision was hard for me but I had to continue down the journey no matter how far it looked. Want to learn how I navigated through the outcomes of my uncomfortable path? Listen in to this episode.
