On this week episode I have my dad on for the second week in a row to help me get this years spooky season started. We watched The Nun 2 together and we discussed the whole Conjuring franchise and how well this movie fits in it. Though most of the movie had us on the edge of our seats, we break down some of the flaws in this movie as well. And for this weeks throwback movie, we watched Dead Silence for the first time together. A very creepy movie, but not a satisfying plot.Â

On this weeks episode, I review the last summer block buster of the year, Gran Turismo. Based on a true story, this film is one of the best movies of the year. David Harbour definitely steals the show in this biopic. Brandon Cole comes back to help me review my favorite biopic. Instead of having a throwback movie this episode, we also review Strays. The newest Will Ferrell raunchy comedy along side Jaime Foxx.

And the Pope's Exorcist breaks the formula in paranormal movies in a great way.Â

On todays episode I am joined by my old man and my youngest brother. Together we watched Plane, a high intense thriller that triggers a new flying fear for me. We also watched A Man Called Otto starring Tom Hanks. An unexpected tear jerker that redeems Tom Hank for his character choices in 2022. We finished the episode by reviewing 300. Another Gerard Butler movie that was a great intense thriller.

On todays episode I review the first movie of 2023, M3EGAN. This horror movie became a fan favorite as soon as the trailer dropped a few months ago. It was such a big opening weekend for this movie that I had to get two guests on the podcast to help me review it. Glenn and Liz, who are recurring guests on the podcast, joined me again with two choices for their throwback movies. Glenn chose 365 days which is the first ever erotica movies on the show. And Liz picked Father Stu starring Mark Wahlberg on Netflix.

Probably the biggest movie of 2022 is Avatar: The Way of Water. Thirteen years after the first Avatar movie, James Cameron finally releases its sequel and it did not disappoint. With a big movie I needed a big guest to help me review it. I asked content creator Justine Bijou to come on the podcast.
