Welcome back to Two Guys One Car, a podcast showcasing individuals who live rather than just exist. In today's episode, we'll be chatting with two absolute savages, Jasper Gotterson and Sean Stuart from the elite quartet, Mates v States.

In May of this year both Jasper and Sean were apart of a mammoth effort to run 80 marathons in 80 days across the USA with the goal of raising over 200k for Cancer Council, all having been impacted by the struggle for cancer treatment resources.

Throughout we discuss the relationships they created along the way, what the reality of adapting to this crazy lifestyle looks like, and who they are outside of the Mates v States moniker.

Welcome back to Two Guys One Car, a podcast showcasing individuals who live rather than just exist. In today's episode, we'll be chatting with rapper and writer, Misch DDB

How’d we come across Misch? A few years ago Josh was in Sydney city heading home, when he was approached by Misch at a traffic light asking if he liked rap music whilst playing some of his music aloud. Josh grabbed his name and details so he could follow along with his journey. After seeing Misch’s recent activity, we pitched Misch the podcast, and here we are!

Throughout the conversation we discuss Misch’s upbringing and hardship throughout his preteen and teenage years, how he found music, why others shouldn’t see him as a role model and plenty more.

As always we greatly appreciate your support.

Filmmakers Spencer Frost and Guy Williment join the guys on todays episode. Fresh out of the ice bath the guys sit down and talk about their latest project Kamchatka. Spencer and Guy travelled with their two best mates Letty and Fraser all the way to Kamchatka, Russia in winter with the hopes of finding waves and to document the process. The film is a beautiful display of mateship, human potential, the relationship we have with nature and of course surfing...

The guys talk about the ups and downs of the trip, the sacrifices required to create a documentary of this magnitude, a near death experience that Guy had to deal with, the power of social media and more.

This weeks challenge is very fitting to the winter theme that is shown throughout the entire film...

The documentary is one of the best films to date. Everyone should go and watch it. You don't need to be a surfer to appreciate what these guys did.

The guys are extremely grateful for the opportunity to speak with two guys who are simply LIVING. Spencer and Guy hold a great deal of humility that is shown throughout the conversation.

If you want to watch the film, head over to their website (linked below) to see tour dates and to stay in the loop of release dates. Check out their Social media pages to see snippets of the film and their other projects.

This week's episode is a special one for the guys. Andrew is a close friend to the guys and has one of the most unique minds out there. Andrew over the years has learned to trust his intuition, this led him to spending all the money he had on a plane ticket to LA in the hopes that he might work with YES THEORY. He has taken his Uber driver on a helicopter ride and lived in his van travelling the east coast of Australia.

It isn't all sunshine and rainbows though. Andrew opens up about how an act of spreading joy and kindness was miss interpreted which resulted in his name being dragged though the dirt in mainstream media and because of that he lost work and deals he was working on valued over $100,000.

Andrew's message is powerful and as he says "anything is possible on the other side of hello".

The boys are in Adelaide, South Australia this week! How the hell did they get there?! Whilst on the way home from filming a documentary ("The Drive" coming soon), the boys took to the streets to ask the public a few questions! Along the way, they came across Dion, an online trader working to achieve his hopes and desires by making connections with local creators, focusing on his personal development outside of the world of trading and overcoming  his extremely tough past potentially life changing decisions.

The boys are joined by some mates as they trek attempted to trek through the Jugungle Wilderness in the Snowy Mountains. After a day of the steep highs and shallow lows, the gang figured they'd have a yarn about their expectations vs. reality, best moment and worst moments and what would lie ahead of them on their grind out of there the following day.

Stay tuned till the end, where they give a run down of what we like to call "show and tell", and, strap in, as they are all fed-up, wet, cold and all sorts of silly.

This weeks episode is truly bizarre. The guys had an encounter with a drink driver on a freeway. The initial reaction for most is anger towards the individual who committed the act. Challenge yourselves to look deeper than the surface. Consider what has happened in someone's life to lead them to that point.

Through Kyle and Josh's experience and having much time to recap they understood that whilst there are complexities in this situation the most important foundation is missing being love.  This recap is purely intended to help people understand that there can be good people who do bad things and hopefully breed some gratitude into your lives.
