My hope with this podcast is that you find Jesus in your journey. You allow Him to meet you where you are and trust Him to take you where He wants you to go. Enjoy "the journey."
I want to take time to thank each one of you who has joined me over the last 40 episodes. Even though I don’t know all the names and faces of the individuals who have listened, you made a difference in my life just knowing that somehow we’ve connected through this experience. I’m not sure what the future looks like for “The Journey” Podcast but I’m thankful for you and hope you continue to pray for me as I journey to my next yes.

Then the LORD turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?” So he said to Him, “O my Lord, how can I save Israel? The Bible is living and active. That’s what scripture says. It’s not just a history book that’s unrelatable. There is so much truth and goodness waiting to fill your heart and mind but it will take effort. It will require work. It will be hard … BUT … it doesn’t have to be. Find someone to hold you accountable. Find someone who can process what you’ve read and help explain it. Don’t walk this journey alone.
The word fear is mentioned over 500 times in the Bible and the words “fear not” appear 365 times … one verse for every day of the year. “Fear not” is the most repeated command in the Bible.

"The toughest thing you'll do as a parent is letting your child go. And you're going to do it in a lot of tiny moments along the way, when you don't even realize it's happening. But don't be scared. You signed up to put all your love into this little person so that when they go out into the world, they know you'll always be their home. "
"When did he learn to trust God? The answer: he didn’t learn to trust in the lion’s den. Daniel learned in his prayer closet. His faith wasn’t built in the battle. His faith was built when he was on his knees. He had consistently sought after the heart of God. Three times a day. Day after day, week after week, month after month, he consistently worshiped and sought God.”
"Ultimately, we cannot let our identity be wound up in something that someone else says about us. We have to allow ourselves time to heal those wounds. Yes, there may be scars that remind you of the past, but heal. Forgive. Replace those lies and hurts with truth. "
"Don’t allow yourself to get stuck in a box that you’ve created or someone else has defined for you. Don’t settle for confusion in this thing called life as you search for your true identity and purpose."
