Yassine, or as he is affectionately known, "Snoopy", is one of Morocco's most loved surfers.
If you've ever visted the Taghazout region of Morocco for surfing then you've probably seen, heard or surfed with Snoopy.
In a busy Anchor line up, you'll have seen the smiling and laughing Snoopy sliding down waves through the pack.
At home on long boards, finless, Alaia and short boards, Snoopy just loves surfing.
Listen to how he started surfing from humble beginnings, what interests and inspires his surfing and what he's been up to at the Wave wave pool in Bristol, UK.
Masterclass video tutorials from Snoopy and many other professional surfers and coaches that accelerate your progression available at www.Hodi.tv
Located in a valley, next to the town of Sion and surrounded by many famous ski resorts, Alaia Bay is Europe's #1 Wave Pool
In this episode, we speak with Vincent Van Laethem, CEO of Alaia Bay and the Alaia Businesses that the group operate.
In case you didn't know, they have a skateboard park, indoor & outdoor, snow park, hotel and many other adventure sports assets in the area.
Vincent has extensive experience with many other Adventure Sports and has an amazing attitude to running the business, and that is, to always focus on the customer experience and ensure that Alaia provide the most enjoyable experience.
In this episode we hear Vincent talk about the timeline for creating a wave pool, what kind of people are visiting Alaia Bay, their views about facilities and experiences and what they are trying to achieve.
We apologise for some of the background noise caused by the waves being pumped out at the wave pool, demo helicopters and busy management talking as when we sat down with Vincent, the Alaia Bay Winter Cup 2021 was is full swing and it was hard to find a quiet spot to speak.
One of the most interesting people in the industry to chat to, we hope you enjoy the listen too.

Today’s Audio File is the first of a 2 part series from Marlon Lipke
Marlon is the first German surfer to have ever qualified for the World Tour of surfing, he has over 20 years of high level surfing experience and is one of the most popular surfers in Europe
One of the first observations from working with Marlon is his ability to communicate both technical aspects from his surfing swell as sensations. Athletes often tend to lean to one or the other, but Marlon has the ability to communicate both which is great for all of us surfers when trying to learn or understand a technique
This Audio File will be about Backhand surfing and his thoughts from his first visit to a Wave Garden Cove wave pool at Alaia Bay in Switzerland
If you’re about to visit the wave pool for the first time then it may be of interest to hear what a surfer of Marlon’s ability has to say
Audible files from the Mark Phipps Masterclass for the Malibu / Intermediate / Cruiser wave pool sessions
We’ve had a lot of requests for the information to made available for people when they are travelling or driving and not able to watch the videos
We also realised there was a lot of useful information that was left on the cutting room floor, so we’ve put it all together and created an audible file for you to all listen to
First up is Mark Phipps and his Malibu Wave Masterclass filmed at Alaia Bay. We will also be releasing his Mid Length Masterclass later in the month so keep an eye out for this content drop
Mark is a true gentleman of the sport, and a fountain of knowledge when it comes to surfing and shaping
A humble man it is a rarity to find him in the spot light, so we hope you will enjoy listening to him talk about topics he is clearly passionate and knowledge about
Mark Phipps is a surfer and shaper from the Bells Beach area of Australia.
He has been surfing and shaping for over 30 years, spending half his year in Hossegor France and the other half in Australia.
Mark is well known in the surfing industry but for most recreational surfers he is well known for creating the "One Bad Egg', the popular mid length surf board.
Having just finished post production video work for his new masterclass videos which were filmed at the Alaia Bay wave pool earlier this year, we managed to squeeze a podcast in with Mark to find out who he is, how he started surfing and shaping, key influences and how the "One Bad Egg" came to fruition.
