Cierrah is a wife, mother, student, stay at home mom and influencer. Make sure to leave a shoutout for her twin babies featured in this episode as they get ready to turn 1 this weekend!
On this weeks episode she tells us about her pregnancy with twin boys. Cierrah, already a mother of 1 child under 1 found out she was having twins very early. She spent most of her pregnancy with morning sickness. During a routine ultrasound she found out one of the babies was not growing enough and she was scheduled for a csection the next day. Even with a planned surgery she still ended up with a spinal headache, postpartum hypertension and having to make big decisions on her postpartum care.

Gentle Birth, Gentle Mothering book mentioned in interview
My birth prep book recommendation
For her second birth Kimberly decided a midwife assisted hospital birth was the right choice for her. While preparing she and her husband had the plan laid out on how they were to make it to the hospital. What they did not anticipate in this plan was just how fast this labor and delivery would go. Kimberly was shocked to realize she was getting ready to deliver her baby after only 2 hours of labor as she rushed her husband to the car. It was on this ride that she knew they were not going to make it to the hospital in time.
Kimberly's body knew exactly what to do in order to get her little boy here safe and sound even if it were in the passengers seat of the family vehicle only blocks away from the hospital.
Kimberly also talks about the heathcare system in Australia and how maternity care works in their country.

Labor Book I highly Recommend!
On this episode we talk to Heidi Calmus, a 36 year old mom of 3 from Colorado, USA. You might recognize Heidi from her families YouTube Channel Dude Dad where her husband Taylor documents all things fatherhood, family and more!
Today's episode features the birth of Otto, Heidi's third child. When her first two labors were anything but what she imagined, were long and required some intervention, Heidi found herself wishing for her third labor to go as fast as safely possible.
At just over 40 weeks she decided an induction was the right choice for her and called her midwife to go into the hospital. Heidi was prescribed Cytotec which she was told would soften her cervix to make it more favorable for labor. After being told to lay down and try to get some rest before they start Pitocin in the morning no one expected just how fast Mr. Otto would make his way into this world!
Heidi keeps it lighthearted while telling her story and gives a wealth of knowledge to every mom out there just starting their pregnancy and birth journey. You are not going to want to miss this episode!
