In this months episode we hear from our regular contributors as well as a visit from members of the Peru Drama Club who chat about there upcoming performance of the school version of "Mean Girls".

In our first episode of the new school year we feature our regular segments, including a school board report, our superintendents update and an athletics update. Our spotlight segment this month features high school senior Taylor Greenhaw and school counselor Adam Carter who discuss Taylor's participation in the New Vision Medical Careers Program.
In our November episode we are joined by our regular contributors. In our building spotlight segment we chat with new staff members Hannah Jock and Mitchell Senecal who are both PE teachers in our Intermediate building.
In our first regular episode of the school year we feature our regular segments, including a school board report, our superintendents update and an update on fall sports as they begin to wrap up. Our spotlight this month focuses on the importance of cyber security.
In this bonus episode we are joined by Superintendent Scott Storms, Grant Coordinator, Wendy Paul and School Business Executive, Kara Bowes. They provide a lot of helpful insight on the COVID Relief Fund and what we have done as a district to use this resource to enhance programming and opportunities.
In this bonus episode Transportation Supervisor "Dave Wagner" and School Business Official "Kara Bowes" join us to discuss current openings and opportunities for bus drivers in our school district. Additional information is included in the attached document.

In this bonus episode some of our Elementary students have a conversation with a few members of the Holistic Life Foundation who spent time recently with our staff and students to share some insights on mindfulness and self-care.
In our May episode we are joined by School Board President "Bonnie Berry", School Superintendent "Scott Storms, Assistant Superintendent Shannon Pitcher-Boyea and Athletics Coordinator "Diana Bartholomew". In lieu of our regular "Spotlight" segment, we will be releasing a bonus episode featuring members of the Holistic Life Foundation where we will learn more about their organization and their recent visit to our school district where they discussed mindfulness with staff and students. Peru High School Principal Matt Berry is joined by seniors: Kathryn Bowman, Chelsea Germaine and Jonas Petro for a lively discussion about the excitement of the upcoming Senior Prom as well as the need to be safe and responsible on the big day.
This special bonus edition of the We Are Peru podcast features national recording artist and International Blues Challenge winner -- Kevin Burt. We are also joined by Plattsburgh Blues and Jazz founder Ms. Laura Carbone as well as Peru's own High School Jazz band director Todd Pray. Kevin discusses a variety of topics including his long history of working with schools and the migration of blues over the years. He even treated your humble host and other guests in the studio with a truly remarkable performance of his hit song " I Don't Want to See You No More". Trust me. You don't want to miss it!
Kevin will be giving his time this week working with schools across the North Country and will be performing a concert in conjunction with the Peru High School Jazz Ensemble Thursday March 28th at 6:30 P.M. in the Peru High School Auditorium.
