Our children are raised to fall in line, then they get older and we want them to have a leader’s mentality. All our lives we’ve been taught how to be really good followers and then we wonder where all of our leaders are. Let’s change that
My dad always told me to train with the faster guys on the team if I wanted to be faster. That principle still holds true in every facet of my life today. Run with the winners.
Truly study the greats. Study Nipsey Hussle to see how he rose to power. One thing I always appreciated was Nip’s willingness to stay moving. He always stayed grounded while not being afraid to try something new. Sometimes things in life run their course and change is necessary.

As a Tulsa native, the words Black Wallstreet are associated with PRIDE and SHAME. Pride for being the product of such a rich history. Shame for not being able to maintain what was once built and then rebuilt after the 1921 Race Massacre. It is important to know WHY you are doing something. Always learn why you are doing something so you can stay focused on your goal. Everyone will have feedback on what you are doing, which is great.
